Broken || Kim Mingyu ||

Author's Pov:

Eunji rested on his shoulder, tired. "Remember Mingyu, you had chance to push me away but didn't". Mingyu closed his eyes tightly, "I couldn't help".

Eunji got up, dressing herself properly again, she said, "What happened to that file".

"Aera was about-", he stopped and called her. At first it rang and suddenly it came switched off. He cursed under his breathe and called an employee.

"Did Aera come here?", he asked. The employee nodded and said, "She was looking angry and hurt while going back".

Mingyu got up and was about to go but Eunji stopped him, "Did she get to know ?". Mingyu stopped, "Leave me". Eunji left his hand, Mingyu ran.

The whole time he kept calling her but her phone came switched off. He called Mrs. Jang who told him what happened before. "She is still not home", Mingyu whispered and turned the wheels to abandoned garden. He was sure, she might be there.

After reaching there, he ran to her favorite spot. He saw nothing.

"Searching for a women?", the same man asked. "Y-Yeah, did you see her?  Do you know where she went?", Mingyu asked.

"You are her husband?", he asked, "She went back but I don't know where".

Thanking him, Mingyu again went to his house. He opened the door to see, Aera carrying a sleepy Jiho in her arms and a suitcase beside her.

"A-Aera", his voice cracked. He walked towards her and tried holding her hand but she retreated. "J-Just listen to me-"

"You are here", Aera smiled and went to Jeonghan. "Please take Jiho. I want to talk to Mingyu for a while", Aera said. Jeonghan nodded and took Jiho in his arm while the suitcase in other hand.

Aera's smile dropped seeing Mingyu, "I am still not leaving this house, Mingyu. As I had told you before, I am living with Jeonghan for few days". Her monotonous voice hurted him, it showed no feelings. "I know everything Kim Mingyu but just for the sake of our son, I am acting like this", she said, her eyes held nothing but pain.

"Aera, please let me explain", Mingyu said. Aera chuckled, "I heard and saw everything I needed to. I don't think your explanation will help".

Mingyu was about to hold her hand but she backed away, just like their first meet. "Aera, please listen to me once. Just once", he pleaded. He saw her hands clutching her dress which meant she is uncomfortable.

"I am already late, Mingyu. Jeonghan is waiting for me, I don't want him to keep waiting", Aera said. Mingyu could see the old Aera in her, the one who never showed her feelings to anyone especially men. She left and he didn't stop her.

Mingyu called Seokmin urgently. Pacing around the room, he waited for his bestfriend to come.

"Why did you call me so urgently? And why is the house so silent?", Seokmin asked entering the house. "It's over. Everything is over", Mingyu said. "What do-"

"She saw me and Eunji today", he paused, "while having sex". Seokmin say with the shock, "I told you to stop, didn't I? Why the hell did you do that? Congratulations, Kim Mingyu, you fucked up", Seokmin mocked him.

Mingyu started crying. "Now there is no use of crying, Mingyu", Seokmin couldn't help but speak like this, "Even after knowing past you chose this step".

"It happened again, Seokmin. Just like our first meet, she moved away. She hates me now"

Flashback:

Even after a month, Mingyu kept visiting the cafe just to see her. Until, one day, he muster the courage to talk to her. They talked but it was only limited to giving and taking the orders, nothing more than that.
