*A year later*

It was a week into the first semester of school. I lunged myself down the rowdy halls as I normally did each day. My eyes focused on everything and everyone as I watched them speak and act and move. I had the exact same routine every single day since I'd started school here a year ago.

As I made it to my first class which was design  I opened the door and sat down. The teacher entered the room and  greeted the class . I put my earphones in and continued to draw as I could vaguely hear Mr. Heath introducing a new student.

I didn't care. I continued to tune everyone out as I attempted to complete my newest piece when:
Tap
Go away
Tap.
Leave me alone.
Tap
Stop.
Tap.
I swear to go-Tap.

"What?!" I snapped, swinging around in my chair.
I saw Candice who was sitting behind me with the biggest grin stretched across her face. She was a typical girly girl, not  my friend but we were decent to one another.

"The new guy was talking to you and you totally ignored him." She giggled gesturing to the left side of the class where a handsome guy sat looking straight at us.

He sent me a wink and had me irritated in less than a second.
"Well if he was observant enough he would've realized that I had earphones in and I honestly couldn't care less about his existence." I hissed, making sure I was loud enough for him to hear. I looked at him only to see a huge smirk plastered across his face.

Ryder's Point of view

I stood up in front of the class as Mr. Heath introduced me. "Everyone this is Ryder if you haven't met him in homeroom yet. He is obviously a new student here. Please make him feel welcomed and show him around if need be." As he spoke I was scanning the room and taking in each and every person. The guys were looking bored and all the girls seemed pretty interested in my existence, aside from one girl who was blatantly ignoring everything around her. that alone spiked my interest. She had maroon colored hair and she was wearing black ripped jeans, a black hoodie and a black t-shirt that had a My Chemical Romance logo on it.

Nice .

"You can go take a seat at the back over there." Mr. Heath informed me. The room burst into chatter as I walked towards my assigned seat. I stopped by red heads desk and addressed her "Hey, what's wrong? Too cool to hear about the new student?" I taunted. No reply. Not even a glance. "So your just gonna ignore me? That's mature." I snorted. Again no response.  Eventually I did what all successful people on this earth do.
I gave up.

'Aim low and never be disappointed' he use to tell me.

For some reason I couldn't take my eyes off that girl. Who the hell was she to just ignore someone like that? I had never met anybody that rude. But yet, I was compelled by her, there was something that made me interested in her-interested in the fact that she refused even acknowledge my existence. I watched as the blonde girl behind her started tapping her repeatedly on the back.

I smirked at the fact that I wasn't the only one who  redhead completely ignored. I watched the scene progress and after a few minutes she spun around and snapped at the blonde who kept glancing at me while giggling to herself.

"The new guy was talking to you and you totally ignored him." She giggled gesturing to me. I watched as  the red head gritted her teeth after I sent her a wink.

"Well if he was observant enough he would've realized that I had earphones in and I honestly couldn't care less about his existence." She hissed back. Feisty. Very Interesting... I smirked at how she made it completely obvious that she wanted me to hear what she had to say.
