"Innie?"
"Hm?"
"Could you pass me the big plate?" Jeongin turned around and handed me the plate I asked him for.
"Thank you Baby." Blushing the younger went back to his phone, searching for new music.

"Mommy!" Lily came running into the kitchen.
"What is it?" Jeongin kneeled down to the 5-year-old smiling. Lily pointed at the clip-on earrings she wore.
"Aww, they look so pretty on you." Smiling he stroked through Lily's hair and then stood back up.
"Do you want to help us sweetie?" Excitedly the little girl nodded at my boyfriend's question.

"You can fill the soup into the other pot, if you want." I looked at my daughter, who nodded again.
"Okay, take that trowel." Lily took the trowel and started to pour the soup into the other pot, while Jeongin held her in his arms.

"Finished!"
"Nice!" Jeongin put her back on the floor and Lily ran back to her room. While Lily brought her drawing stuff to the kitchen, Jeongin and I went on making dinner for us. So that around 10 minutes later we all settled down at the dining table and began to eat.

I poured sparkling wine into Jeongin and my glass and Lily got the apple juice she chose a few days ago while grocery shopping.
"Thanks daddy!"
"You're welcome Princess."

"Let's drink on the beautiful year, the things we experienced together and that we were allowed to get to know each other. I'm so glad we're able to sit here together right now. I love you two."
"I love you two too."
"Me too! I love Mommy and Daddy too!" Giggling we toasted our glasses and drank a little.

After eating we went to the living room and played a few little games. Then my phone started ringing.

"Hello?"
"..Hyung! Uh.."
"What is it Jisung?"
"I-I think we c-can't come over today.."
"Why is that?"
"We kinda.. uhm-"
"Okay, keep it. I don't wanna know. Have a happy new year."
"Y-you too." We hung up and I turned back to Jeongin and Lily.

"Jisung and Minho won't come over."
"Why is that?" I shrugged my shoulders.
"They're probably doing something not that youth-free."
"Well.."

Then the doorbell rang.
"Coming!" I walked up to the door and opened it.
"Come in." I stepped aside and let Felix, Changbin, Hyunjin and Seungmin in.

"Where's my favourite girl?" Changbin walked into the living room.
"Uncle Binnie!" Lily ran up to my friend and jumped in his arms.
"Heyyy." Everyone welcomed each other and settled down in the living room.

"I'm tired.." Lily yawned and leaned at Jeongin.
"It's 10.08pm.."
"What about you take a little nap and we'll wake you up before midnight?" The little girl nodded and then Jeongin went to put her to bed. Not even 5 minutes later he came back and sat down next to me.

"..I dare you to burp. I dare you to burp." We laughed at Felix, who just drank half a bottle of sparkling water and was trying not to burp. He caught, while holding onto his boyfriend's shoulder.
"I told you Lix."
"I know.. I won't do it again.." The 21-year-old looked at his boyfriend apologising.

"Guys, what time is it?"
"11.51pm."
"We still have to wake up Lily."
"I'll go." Jeongin smiled at me and stood up. I mouthed a 'thank you' and gave him a flying kiss, which he catched and put at his heart, smiling.

When he came back with Lily, I quickly kissed him and all 7 of us went outside on the balcony.

"2 more minutes.." Hyunjin said and laid his arms around Seungmin, just like Changbin did with his boyfriend. I laid my arms around Jeongin's torso and looked into the youngers eyes. Lily meanwhile excitedly waited for the fireworks to start again.

"5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Happy New Year!" Felix screamed silently, turning around to hug his boyfriend back.

"Happy new year Channie.." Jeongin whispered.
"Happy new year Innie.." I whispered back and gently kissed the younger.

Suddenly Lily clung onto our legs, looking up to us.
"Happy new year.." The little girl mumbled. I took her up and kissed her head.
"Happy new year Lily." We said.
