Maul retracted both ends of his lightsaber. He gazed in amazement at his brother, thought to still be lying dead on one of the streets of the under levels of Coruscant. "Brother, I thought you were dead. How did you survive what Lord Sidious did to you?" Maul whispered to his thought to be dead brother.

"Do you really think I'm that weak?" snapped Savage. "You were chopped in half and you survived with nothing but a bunch of garbage for legs. All he did to me was stab me through the stomach. I'm as strong as you. Probably even stronger."

"Brother. Why are you so angry with me." Maul questioned.

"Because you left me for dead in the under levels of Coruscant. You would really leave your family. Your a sad, pitiful soul. Oh, how the mighty Darth Maul has fallen." replied Savage.

Savage ignited his saber and hissed at Maul, "Either you kill me, or I kill you,"

Savage swung at Maul. But Maul's senses told him to move. He ducked just in time to dodge a swing at the head. Maul ignited both blades of his saber and fought back.

The fight seemed to last forever. One continually swinging at each other. The three red blades danced in the dark of the hallway. Moving endlessly. Savage kicked Maul in the leg knocking him off balance. Maul fell to the ground. He couldn't get up. "And now you die, as all filth must," Savage said hatefully. He rose his blade but Maul swung at Savage striking him in the chest. He fell to the ground.

"I'm sorry, brother. You left me no choice. Wait. What is this? What..." Maul puzzled in sorrow and amazement.
