It's been almost two weeks since I havent spoken to Sebastian since that night he drove me home. He moved homerooms so I don't get to see him in the morning and I don't usually don't see him at lunch. The only time I do get the chance is when it's the end of the day when I get to use my locker. Even then I can't find the right words to say without looking like a fool.
Also within those two weeks I have also learned a lot about Amy, like her favorite color is purple like me and she has a younger sister that has came over to my home one day. Her and my brother meet and practically became friends in one day.
Amy also told me how she knows Sebastian. They were actually friends and they went to middle school together, he was in the same class as her as well. They would hang out after school and even on weekends. He was very sweet and sort of protective of her. It's was a bond that you would think would last forever,
Unfortunately when they started 8th grade they slowly drifted apart then eventually stopped talking. Amy said that high school changes people and in his case, for the worst. They were practically best friends maybe and grew a strong brother-sister relationship. Amy thought that they would be great together and was going to confess her feelings but it was already to late.
It's a sad story but I honestly couldn't relate. I never had a guy best friend that eventually became my crush. Most of the guys are just not appealing or they are just plain rude so I don't bother.

It's was lunch time so Amy and I decided to be badasses and leave school campus even though we knew that freshmans are not allowed. We weren't going to go anywhere crazy just down the street to get Chinese. We planned out this entirely, sort of.
I waited by the back doors of the school for Amy as was taking her sweet time. I thought she got caught so I about to proceed to plan B. Which is to get her food along with mine and just deliver it. I was about to head out until I felt someone tap my shoulder. I jumped then turned around to find out that it still wasn't Amy.
"Where are you heading?" Sebastian smirks while raising his eyebrows and he crosses he arms.
What are you my father? I don't need to tell him anything. So l don't respond.
Sebastian then said something I did no t expect at all, "Asia, what are you incoherent? Are you really continuing to ignore me?" He said as he was laughing.
I was pretty shocked what he said, he actually realized that I created some distance between us. Also I was really mad because how can come here and tell me that he has a problem with me ignoring him but he ignored Amy all of 8th grade year and beginning of freshman year. I was not having it so I decide so speak my mind.
"Are you honestly serious? You have a problem with me ignoring you but yet you don't have a problem with ignoring Amy so-"
"You know Amy?" He said with a quickness. I was sort of taken back by how quick his response was.
I crossed my arms,"Yes I do we are friends, unlike you two."
"Excuse me? I don't like your attitude, what did I ever do to you?" He raised his voice. Then suddenly he started smirking and chucking, shaking his head as if something was funny. "Hey if you like me you could just say so."
My cheeks suddenly turned red and I quickly turned around. Where did he get that idea? Just because I like to stare into his dark brown hair and...beautiful green eyes it doesn't mean jack squat alright.
I was about to respond to that comment until I finally saw Amy. I had somewhat forgot that we were sneaking out to eat for lunch.
"Hey over here!!" I whispered. Amy walked over and then suddenly noticed that her old-friend was there and she bowed her head and did not make eye contact. We quickly headed out the door without saying another word to Sebastian.
We are nearing the Chinese shop and Amy finally speaks about what happened.
"So um Asia, what were you guys talking about back there?" She asked timidly.
"Nothing much, he was just interrogating me for no reason. So annoying."
"Where any of the questions about me"
I was trying to avoid that question but I have no choice but to answer. "Yes, we'll sort of. I mentioned your name and kind of lit up like a Christmas tree." I looked at Amy and I could tell she is blushing. I wanted to tell he it was not that serious but I'll let her have her moment.
We finally get to the store and order our food. Surprisingly we ordered Sesame chicken with rice which is our favorite.
When we sit down at the table and start eating I can tell that Amy had something more to say. I swear this girl is bipolar."Ok girl what is it?" I push my food away.
"It's just he didn't say anything to me, he must hate me."
I was ready to jump across the table and slap her just for the fact that she said that.
"No he didn't say anything about that. He just seemed surprised when I said your name that's all. Maybe he likes you."
"I highly doubt that."
"You will never now until you ask."
There was a silent pause then Amy answered with." Well if he liked me then he would of walked up to me by now."
I take a second to gather my thoughts then say, "Sometimes you got to take charge. He could be a shy little prick and really sorry for ignoring you for a year. Maybe there is a reason why he did it." (Someone take notes, what I'm saying right now is gold)
"Alright sure a girl goes up to a guy like that ever happens."
I didn't understand what that means or at least I chose not to. There is nothing wrong with a girl asking a guy out, my mother did it. She is a very confident that new what she wanted so she went is and asked my dad out. I wish I was as bold as her sometimes.
"Amy just do it that's all I could say, and if all else fails I'll be here for you."
She smiles and changes the subject about how we are so happy that we aren't eating that poor excuse for lunch at school. Which is my kind of topic. Before I knew it it was almost time to go so we got our stuff and left hoping we don't get caught sneaking back in the school. Thank God we didn't.
