Pacific Rim: Beginning of the End

Part 3: Hurt Mind.

Previously: Aphrodite and Ares killed a Trespasser. Sierra tells everyone about ATTEs family tree which made Tyrant a little sad because he never got a chance to meet them, Delta learned that Tyrant, when depressed or sad can't be comforted by anyone (he likes to alone when he's sad or depressed) and when she tried to comfort him, it worked, Tyrant even comforted her when she was a little depressed on the roof, Tyrant completed training and landed his first kill, the next day, Delta landed her's. They were asked questions by the press and Delta wasn't in the right state of mind to answer. Tyrant finds out that tomorrow he'll drift with Mako and Raleigh. All the Jaegers went to sleep but Delta couldn't.

At 1:30 AM. Delta was walking around the room trying to get sleepy, but it wasn't working, Tyrant woke up and being the good friend that he is, he tried to help her.

Tyrant *a little groggy*: Delta? Why are you awake?

Delta: I couldn't sleep.

Tyrant: That fight with Onibaba really did a number on you. Didn't it?

Delta: Yeah.

Tyrant: Come on, there's a cliff just outside the Shatterdome, we can sit there and look at the stars for a while, maybe that'll help you.

Delta: Ok.

They went to the cliff and sat on the edge, Delta didn't look at the sky, but was looking at the stars reflections on ocean. Tyrant was the one looking at the sky.

Delta: I don't know whats better, the stars or their reflection.

Tyrant: Both are beautiful.

Delta: Oh the moons out tonight.

Tyrant: Oh yeah, and a full moon too.

Delta: The moon looks really beautiful tonight.

Tyrant: Yeah...*looks at Delta*.

(What? He just looked at her)

Delta put her head on Tyrants right shoulder and slowly fell sleep, till she did. Tyrant slowly put her down and then picked her up and took her back to the room, and put her in her bed, lay down in his and fell asleep. In the morning, at 6, Mako came into the room and sat on Tyrants chest waiting for him to wake up, and when he did...

Tyrant: What the? AH!

Mako: Morning Tyrant.

Tyrant: Ms Beckett. What are you doing on top of me. This looks wierd you know.

Mako: Wierd how? Your a 275 foot machine and I am a 5 foot 5 human.

Tyrant: Right. Well I am up.

Mako: Good. Come on. I'll ride on your shoulder?

Tyrant: Don't see how that's a problem.

As Tyrant was walking out of the room, Delta woke up.

Delta: Tyrant?

Tyrant: Oh. Morning.

Delta: Morning, oh, Ms Beckett.

Mako: Morning Delta.

Delta: Should I get up to?

Before Mako could say yes...

Tyrant: No no, you sleep, you barely slept, I'll wake you at 8:30.

Delta: Ok.

Delta went back to sleep and as Tyrant was taking Mako to the main hanger, she asked him why he let her sleep.

Mako: Tyrant?

Tyrant: Yes ma'am?

Mako: Why did you let her sleep, you know all of you have to be awake at 6.
