Pacific Rim: Beginning of the End

Part 7: The Fallen Tyrant.

Previously: Aphrodite and Tyrant were deployed to take down a Knifehead, they were instructed not to engage but since there was a boat out there, they went to help it. Aphrodite was damaged by the Knifehead and Tyrant lost his arm to it, Tyrant ended up killing the Kaiju with his remaining arm, he then collapses on a beach on Anchorage. He was sent home on a ship and is under repairs.

This part will be P.O.V.s. Whenever a part is supposed to be emotional, it will be in the form of P.O.V.s. And when I introduce a new Jaeger, I'll put a O-R K (Obi-Rus Kenobi) if it's his Jaeger, MCJ (My Custom Jaeger) if it's mine, if it has neither, it is from the franchise.

*A few days after Tyrants death*.

Everyone was quite, didn't sleep or even think properly. Titan went from grieving to rage.

Titan: I am gonna kill every Kaiju for that!

Solar: And what is that gonna do? Bring him back?

Echo: No. But...

Aphrodite: But what? Killing Kaiju more brutally won't help defend anyone. We can't spill Kaiju blood.

Echo: But-

Nova: Echo, listen to your sister.

Echo: I...I...What am I going to do without him?

Nova: Echo, they'll bring him back.

Echo: I know.

Sierra: Guys, go for a walk or something...

Echo: Fine.

*Echo's P.O.V.*.

I can't believe he's really dead. How are we supposed to fight without him? If that damn Kaiju didn't destroy the Weapon Factory, he would have killed that damn Knifehead easily. Now I am stuck, sure I have Titan, but I want both my brothers there, not just one. While walking on the beach, Nova accompanied me, she just tried reassuring me that Tyrant won't stay dead.

Nova: Echo, Tyrant will soon be up and running again.

Echo: I know, but I miss him.

Nova: I miss him to. He's like a brother to me, but staying all day in the Shatterdome is not gonna help anyone. What would Tyrant want you to do?

Echo: Get out and fight Kaiju.

Nova: And what are you doing?

Echo: The complete oposite.

Nova: You missed deployment yesterday. You know what they'll do if Jaegers refuse to fight, they get sent back home. What are you going to do when a Kaiju attacks?

Echo: Kill it. I'll kill it.

Nova: Good. Now come on, the sun's going down.

*Nova's P.O.V.*.

Poor Echo, misses his brother, I really don't know how to help him. I can't keep telling him the same thing over and over again. We got back to the Shatterdome and went to our rooms, I couldn't sleep, so Echo definitely couldn't either.

*Echo and Titan's room*.

*Titan's P.O.V.*.

Echo can't sleep, I can't sleep, no one can sleep. Looking at Tyrant just hanging there, with his reactor taken out just hurts. I am supposed to protect my brothers and one of them is dead, I wish I was there to help. They say they can fix him in 6 months, but 6 months is not enough time for this war. Kaiju activity is increasing, and without our weapons and a fallen Jaeger, we might not stand a chance against this. We still have to wait a month and a half for all our weapons.
