"Ugghhhhh" I sighed. There was a wallet in it so I opened it. Louis' identity card was in it so we probably changed our backpacks while we were on the bus. I wonder how he didn't find out.

"Forgot your books?" the girl next to me asked,

"Nope, wrong backpack." I laughed.

"Oh that's too bad." she spoke, "I'm Erin by the way." Erin added.

"Olivia."

Since we only had to finish some exercises I'm going to finish it at home, if I find my backpack at least.

I saw Louis with some girl at his locker and I yelled his name. Louis and the girl both turned around at me.

"What's wrong?" he asked and the brunette girl was looking me up and down.

"Backpack?" I asked as I handed his backpack out to him. We had the exact same one.

"This is you, isn't it?" I joked, holding his identity card with baby Louis on it. He quickly grabbed it and gave me mine back.

"Wanna sit with us?" Louis asked, I saw the girl punching Louis a bit in his stomach, "what?" he looked at her.

"Never mind." the girl said. I walked with them to the cafetaria. Louis pointed to their table and their were 3 guys and one girl already sitting there.

"Go sit already, I'll grab you some food." Louis suggested. I went to their table and saw Vince and Erin sitting there. Vince waved at me, and now I was walking awkwardly towards them while they were all looking at me.

Everyone introduced them to me. There was Vince, who I already knew, Elliot, Liam and Erin. Louis and his girlfriend, I guess, where walking towards us with their plates.

"Oh and that's Elara, Louis' girlfriend." Erin said. Louis gave me my food and I thanked him.

School was over. I didn't feel like taking the bus home so I went walking through the park. I did this every day when I lived in New York. The trees that root so deep and reach so high, that take in the rain and bring the gifts of verdant foliage upon brown wands - they are my friends, my anchors in emotional waters. They are the park. They are the beauty. They are what brings serene reverence when I have the need. It's a little escape from reality.

"Auch!" I yelled, when I looked down I saw a skateboard. The boy falled on the ground, "watch where you going!" I burst out, the boy stood up.

"Sorry Liv, didn't see you there. Can I make it up to you?" Louis excused himself, well, obviously not.

"No thanks." I replied.

"Mind if I join you?" He probably won't understand the word no,

"Sure." I answered. Louis had his skateboard under his right arm. He stopped.

"Wanna try?" he proposed, pointing at his skateboard on the ground. I put my feet on the edge, which made it halfway up and I almost fell.

"Got you." Louis said, comforting me.

"You gotta stand in the middle with one feet, then the other on the ground." he tried to explain, I went back on the board and before I know it I was skateboarding.

"Come on faster!" Louis coached. And I fell.

"Olivia, are you okay?" he asked full of worry, I started laughing and so did Louis. He offered me his hand and I stood up. We started walking back home.

"Give me your number." Louis demanded,

"Why?" I asked, trying to decide if I should do it or not.

"I want to add you to our groupchat with Vince, Erin, Elliot and Liam." he answered. We added each other's contacts and I saw that his girlfriend isn't in here.

"Goodbye." I said. I grab my keys and went inside.

When I went inside I saw that my mom made us dinner.

"Hey sweetie, how was your first day?" she asked,

"No uniform, no music, no backpack and got collided by a skater." I replied. After dinner I went to my room and finished the exercises from maths. My phone started buzzing the whole time.
