𝑀𝑒𝓃𝒹𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝐻𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓉𝓈

✧.*Butterflies*.✧

Today was a sunny day, the perfect day to go out and sketch in some cute coffee shop. I grabbed my pencils, paper, airpods and a hoodie in case it gets cold. 

It's one week ago sinds Louis' party and we haven't talked since. 

I walked into the coffee shop, and I looked Louis straight in the eyes. There's some awkward silence between us. Louis and I both look away, trying to avoid the situation but we can't ignore the awkwardness. 

I ordered my coffee and Louis did order his on the other side of the café. I added melk and sugar and our hands touched. We made eye contact for a while, but we quickly turned around. 

It was quite busy in here, I looked for some place to sit, but the only places that were empty were two places in the middle. 

I looked up and saw Louis looking for a place to sit. He walked over to me and took a seat, drinking his coffee. I avoid making eye contact with him. 

I grabbed paper and a pencil and started drawing, as usual. 

Louis breaks the ice, "what are you drawing?" he asks. I turned it around and showed him the sketch of him, sipping from his coffee. He smirked a bit. 

"I'm sorry." I apologized,

"No I am. I shouldn't ignore you like that. You were just being nice." Louis said. I missed him, and now that he's sitting here in front of me I realize how much he means to me. 

"You know, I still want to give you a better birthday gift." I spoke, I saw that he wasn't wearing the necklace anymore that I gave him. 

"Oh no, I love it, I really do. I just took it off because it was way too confronting." Louis says, "I swear, you don't have to get me anything else." he demanded. But I wanted to. He's been here for me any time. 

"Done." I said, as I handed him the drawing I made a while ago of us, Erin, Liam and Elliot. He looked at it and smiled,

"Thank you darling." he thanked. 

The fight isn't fully over yet, but I left the coffee shop with relieve and hoping for a new beginning of our friendship.

I went back home and my mom left a note on the kitchen counter.

"I'm sorry I didn't say goodbye, me & James are in New York visiting family for our wedding x mom " I read on the note. 

I was bored, I texted Vince, since he's basically my boyfriend now.

Well, Erin told me that she'd hang out with Liam and I didn't want to interrupt them, if you know what I mean.
