Louis' POV
It's one week ago since my birthday party. Olivia and me hadn't talked since then. I miss her, I miss talking to her and I miss seeing her face.
When I first met her I had no idea that she'd become my step sister. I like her, I can't help it. And the worst is I can't even tell her. I can't tell her I like her and I can't tell her we're becoming family in less then a month. I hate it.
But it's for the best. What she did on my party really sucked.
I got ready for the day. I took a shower and looked in the mirror as I saw the necklace she got me. I loved it, but I can't wear it. I took it off and putted it away in the drawer.
I went downstairs and grabbed some lunch, because it's already 1pm.
"Look who finally showed his face." Millie joked. She's the only one I told about Olivia being our step sister.
I finished breakfast, grabbed my skateboard and went out. I do that all the time when I want to escape from the world. It gives me peace. If I fail a trick, I just try again until I can.
Since it was a rainy day none of my friends went out, so it was just me.
I did a trick on a ramp but I failed and my skateboard rolled away. I got mad and left, going to a coffee shop, to dry up a bit.
I stood there, waiting in line and someone walked in. And then I made eye contact with Olivia. We quickly looked away again. Oh lord, what did I miss her. I ordered on the other side of the café, still looking at her brown wavy hair.
I always ask for no sugar and milk, so I can add it by myself. Olivia stood at the milkbar too, our hands accidentally touched. Oh how I want to touch her, how I want to feel her lips on mine. But I can't, we can't. And she's dating Vince.
Olivia quickly took a seat, and I looked around, seeing only one seat available, at Olivia's table. I took a seat but she didn't look up, she was just focusing on her drawing, this is what she does every time.
I finally had the urge to speak to her.
"What are you drawing?" I ask. She turned it around and showed me the sketch of me?
"I'm sorry." she apologized,
"No I am. I shouldn't ignore you like that. You were just being nice." I said.
"You know, I still want to give you a better birthday gift." she spoke,
"Oh no, I love it, I really do. I just took it off because it was way too confronting." Louis says, "I swear, you don't have to get me anything else." I demanded.
"Done." Olivia said, as she handed me the drawing of us, Erin, Liam and Elliot. I looked at it and smiled,
"Thank you darling." I thanked her. It really was beautiful.
