00:49 am Jan 12th

I got out the uber tipped the man, i went straight to mj's apartment.I knocked on the door no answer.I put my ear to the door.i can hear her music which means she's upset.i knock again a bit louder no answer but the music volume goes up.I know she's home but doesn't wanna talk to anyone.i don't blames her tbh.

i bang on her door 3 times again and I heard the music stop.

mj paused her music and headed to her door

"if you are not atlanta police i don't give a fuck why your here" mj looks up to see kai and for some reason her eyes started to tear up

"mj i'm so sorry,i know sorry won't do any better and i know i embarrassed you.I understand if you want space but i just want to know this won't be the end of our road ma"

"kai i literally asked you.i asked if you were over her and you promised you was."

"i kno"

"sh kai and listen you shouldn't lie.no one gets over there first love after 3 months it's impossible.And you made me look so dumb this is why i focus on getting the bag and not on relationships."

"I know i promised"

"what does promise mean kai?" in fact what does it mean to you? Mj asked kai trying not to break down

"It means I'm not lying and I'm keeping true to what I promised."

"Kai I'm gonna ask you again and don't lie to me.Do you still love amberley ?"

kai hesitates for a few seconds

"so that's a yes" mj starts to close her door when kai stops her

"mj please ma i'm telling you now i want you i don't want amberley"

kai you might want me but you won't want me more than amberley if you still love her and i can't date a nigga that's still in love with there ex i'm sorry kai but whatever this was it's done you disrespected me.

mj's pov

I closed my door and put my back against it.i slowly slid down as i just broke down i haven't cried in ages i had no idea why i was crying. I knew Kai for less than a month. There's no way I could like or even love him. It's not possible is it?

I went back to my bedroom and Unpaused my music and smoked my last blunt. By the end of it I was absolutely high.I just started crying uncontrollably. I don't know why my emotions were so all over the place like I was drunk.I just decided to go to sleep.

kai's Pov

I watched as tears fell from MJ's face as she closed the door.What did I actually just ruin.I sat outside mj door debating to try and talk to her again when i saw someone crouch in front of me.I looked up to see maya.

Maybe you do actually care for her

"maya i do.i honestly don't know what i was doing."

"no kai you did, your still in love with your ex,it's okay to admit it mj knows exactly how you are feeling when amberley comes around you."

"She was crying maya, and i had absolutely nothing to say i just wanted to hold her.i don't want her to be crying because of me."

"kai she most likely is not crying because of you, Mj doesn't cry very often,she bottles everything up sometimes a small issue can make all that build up come out."

"what do i do now maya i don't want this to be then end."

"Give her a few days maybe weeks then i'll let yk if she would like to try again"

i got up and hugged maya."i'm sorry maya for embarrassing mj and please tell her i'm sorry and i plan on fixing this"

i know your sorry kai but just know if you do something wrong again if she takes you back it won't be just a punch you'll receive okay

alright kai go home it's already going to 2am

I booked an uber and went back to the house.i went straight to my bedroom had a shower and went to sleep
