I open my door while relighting my blunt when i looked up to see chris.
"hey chris come on in"
"Hey mj" he gave me a hug and came in
He put my red and white jordan 1 house shoes on and followed me to my balcony.After the kai thing chris reached out to me and from then we've become really close friends.im not closer to him compared to maya but he's definitely someone i would fight for.His part of the reason why i kept seeing kai in social places he kept complaining how i need to let loose.I mean we can let loose but just somewhere were someone i don't like isn't present.but i already know with me being close as i am with chris i'm going to end up seeing kai.I relit my blunt and offred chris a few puffs
"So how have you been mj"
"I'm doing well. I'm just happy for this 2 week break."
"Well you deserve it you've been working hard"
"Yeah so have you, i've seen your priv story you gonna start taking music seriously you been in the studio and that."
"Yeah the fans have been going crazy asking me to make more music since they enjoyed idk on the 24 hour music challenge."
"Well Chris, I listen to idk at least 5x a day, yk your cold at rapping and singing. If you take it seriously and put it out there you could be one of the top rappers of the next gen."
"Yeah i know but with my mum suffering from the cancer im trying to help her as much as i can"
"Chris, I'm here for you, you know that. You ever need money, don't be embarrassed or shy to ask. We all go through ruff times.i'll put your mum in my prayers as well."
"Thank you mj"
Chris and me hugged but it wasn't just a normal quick one it was pretty long but calming.
"Chris remembers though all of your hard work is for your mum,your family and for your kids later in life."
"Yeah thank you mj you always know all the right things to say.Enough about the work topic your on a break.yk kai and duke are hosting a party on saturday you should step."
"Erm no"
"Mj kai aint gonna talk to you you can go vibe out with just me and maya you might be able to make new friends as well"
"Nah a lot of woman there will probably use me for clout i need friends on my level or higher and i don't need friends that will be jealous of me winning that's why i only have you and maya."
"Mj not everyone is gonna clout chase"
"I know chris but yk its harder to find real friends after you've reached a certain point in life, not that im too big on my ego but the fact that i don't want drama with weird ass bitches.I worked too damn hard to get to the top to drop back down because of my business being told to the whole world."
"I understand you a lot. But come to the party I'll introduce you to some my friends that i know aren't fake."
"Alright fine but if i get too drunk i want you to keep me away from kai."
