Shovel knight meets shield knight only to see a red and black portal in front of them.
Shovel knight: So This is what thou wert talking about in that message altius sent me.
Shield knight: Certainly, stay vigilant as I have a Bad feeling about this.
Suddenly a black and red robot came out shattering the ground and shot at both heroes.

How ever shield knight blocks the attack but wasn't strong enough and get blown a few feet. Shield then see another red and black portal and throws Shovel knight in there sacrificing herself to save him.
Location: Grey mountain area Shovel Knight then wakes in a grey mountain area.
Shovel knight: ugh
He turn around and sees a giant red and black portal in the distance. He then sees his shovel and equips it. His eyes catches another black and red robot but smaller and looked like a spider.
The spider robot then analyzes shovel knight then jumps and starts to attack him. Shovel knight then blocks it and swings his shovel but it dodges and hits him in the shoulder. The robot then does a spinning attack but blocks it then kicks it a few feet away.
The then grows arms and legs and gets bigger shocking shovel knight. He then tries to run. The robot then jumps in front of him and starts to powers up and does a slash attack. Shovel then digs under ground to avoid it have the attack cut a mountain in half.
Shovel knight then appears attacking the robot while pogo sticking on it then whacks it in the face. He pulls out a wand and uses fire spell to hit it in the face. It then powers up and hits shovel knight in the back while he's trying to run. The robot then extends its arm and grabs him. Shovel knight then appears with green aura around him turning into a ghost and throwing his shovel at the robots head. He then phases through the robot. And uses a vacuum attack to suck him up.
(I don't know what that attack is called)
The robot then goes to attack shovel knight but he phases through it again and grabs his shovel. He then shoots a fire ball from his wand. The robot the deflects it and sends it back to shovel knight. He holds the fire ball on his shovel and hits it directly on the robots head.
The robot then analyses shovel knight's attack and programs itself to rent attacks shooting off both of its own arm going towards shovel knight who it's them both but gets surprised attack by the head the robot the reattached its self and about to finish off shovel knight until a new voice is heard.
???: hey big guy over here.
The voice fires a charged up blast from his finger tips not doing a lot of damage.
It is revealed Cuphead fired the shot saving shovel knight Not surprised the shot barely did anything
