Your girlfriend, Bae Joohyun, took you to a new years show on her day off. You sat in the middle of the theater with the lights dimmed.

"You excited, babe?" Your girlfriend asked.

"You know how much I like shows. Of course I'm excited!" You exclaimed.

She chuckled dryly before directing her attention to the stage. The actors came out onto the stage, comedic jokes left and right. But none of them caught your attention. A few stuntman even came out, but yet again, nothing stood out to you.

Even a man with a motorcycle with women dancing on a platform didn't spark your interest. That was until a woman with silks was lowered on stage. That caught your eye. Joohyun noticed.

She tapped your shoulder lightly, "That isn't all impressive. Anyone could do that." She scoffed lightly.

You rolled your eyes in the dim light. I think the silk dancer looks amazing. The dancer wrapped her pale legs around the silk and did a drop. The audience gasped at the sudden movement, you included.

"It wasn't even that surprising.." Joohyun's snide remarks started to annoy you.

You whispered in her ear, "If you don't like it, leave!"

Your words left her mouth agape. She grabbed her bag angrily and stormed out of the theater. You let out a heavy sigh of relief when you could no longer see her short figure stomping furiously against the floor.

You could finally focus on the dancer in all her glory. She moved skillfully against the silk. You wondered how long she'd been doing this to be that good at something so difficult.

She climbed to the top of the silks and started to spin around, she then started to swing into the audience whilst spinning. Everyone cheered, all you could do was stare in amazement.

As the lights started to become dimmer, the dancer slowly started to lower herself to the ground using the silks. You felt trepidation as she started to come in contact with the floor. Does this mean, she won't come out again?

Could this be the last time you see someone so, seraphic? Millions of thoughts clouded your mind as you got your last looks of the dancer. You had an undying desire to learn more about the girl. You forgot about Joohyun and made your way out of the theater.

There you saw the silk dancer, she had just walked out from backstage was was walking to the water fountain. You felt your heart rate fasten.

"E-Excuse me?" You stuttered out.

The dancer's head rose from the fountain. She turned to look at you. "Yes?"

"Your performance was amazing. I really enjoyed it." You said as you blushed.
