"Ann have you ever looked at Michelle properly? Or even got to know what she's known for? She was famous even before enrolling at ur university Ann" "what? I never knew that??" I asked shocked.
"Her mom used to be an actress, well retired now of course with her ripe age. Don't know how she ended up being vice president at a school anyways, Michelle's an athlete, as you know she plays golf. Girls and boys are literally heads over heels for her after finding out about her through Melanie Marquez which is her mom of course" As he said those words i felt him playfully roll his eyes at the end of his sentence "One day people were shocked as to why she was joining theatre which was very not her since she once stated in an article that 'acting's not for me, I never really found my interest in it." Or whatever she said But now I know why " I swear could feel him smirk through the phone
"How do you have time to know all that information don't you have a job to get to everyday?" I sarcastically threw in "She joined cause of you Ann! God you're so lucky?? The effort she makes just because she likes you? And helping you up when you fell after an argument and dusting your clothes off before her own??? SHE'S SUCH A GREEN FLAG ANN" He screamed in a monotone completely ignoring my previous comment.
"stop yellinggg!" I screamed back "but you're barely getting it! This girl has her eyes on YOU and she goes out of her way for your satisfaction"
"i don't know how everything led up to talking shit about Michelle and then praising her the next day. I don't even know if i like her or not" i huffed
"You don't know a lot of things Ann" he replied
"Whatever, we shouldn't make assumptions. We can't confirm if she still likes me or that she doesn't anymore" i sigh
"Then ask her!"
"What? I can't just ask her! What am i gonna say? 'Hey do you still have a crush on me? Just asking for a friend' that's so stupid!"

The next day as i was headed to my locker to put away some books—after that incident in the storage room me and Michelle were informed by Sir Carl that we both were not allowed to this months play anymore.
Theatre was my shit, I didn't know what to occupy myself this month knowing i was basically banned from auditioning and seeing the play itself.
While opening my locker and halfway through my stuff a person—well not just any person, approached me. "Hey" i hear.
I look at the persons direction being presented by Michelle, "hi?" I was confused to what brought her to me. "What are doing this week or month or i don't know" she nervously asked scratching the back of her head. "Nothing to be honest with you, without this months play occupying me well i basically am empty-scheduled" i reply then hearing another person calling for me so turn to their direction.
"Tonia! Forgot to give you back the pen i borrowed yesterday" Chase said while catching his breath "I couldn't find you after class so i figured i'd give it the next day" He said while giving me the pen "thank's chase" i smiled "you free tonight? We could go get that ice cream i promised you?" He asked as i placed my pen in my locker.
Before i could respond a certain someone beat me to it. "She can't, She's busy" Michelle said "tomorrow night then?" He rescheduled "still can't" Michelle replied again leaving me off guard "oh... well i'll just text you then..?" He says uncomfortable "you don't need to, she's busy everyday, every week, every month and every year but don't worry i'll get her the ice cream instead c'mon Ann" Michelle says in a hurry and closed my locker, grabbed my hand and dragged me with her.
in this case, i should've been mad at her—though instead of my head fuming, my stomach was.
After a few minutes we stopped at an empty hallway.
"Can i court you" Michelle asked the moment we stopped. "Wh- Wait- huh?" I ramble trying to take in the moment. "Anntonia, I have liked you for a very long time now. I've tried to leave you hints which unfortunately didn't turn out well— all i'm trying to say is that i wanna pursue you. And to prove to you that i'm serious I left the theatre club this morning" Michelle said in an almost rapping sound "YOU LEFT THEATER—?" I screamed but then she covered my mouth worried we might get caught.
"Was that the only thing you got from what i said??" She frustratingly puts her hands up in defeat but then calmed down and brought himself to cool down before asking again. "Anntonia Porsild, May i court you?"

"WHAT DID YOU SAY ANNTONIA PORSILD??" Ruru asked shaking both my shoulders back and forth in hopes of me spitting out the answer to his question. "STOP IT" i yelled pushing him away and sighed "i fastly said 'you can' and then ran off" i replied covering my face in embarrassment "you are fucking stupid Ann" Ru rolled his eyes flopping onto the rolling chair in my room "I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY!" i defended myself but then was interrupted by a load notification bell on my phone.
