LUCIFER'S POV:
Leaving Gavreel was no easy task, but the summons from Drakonir Emberheart, the King of Dragons, through our mind link urged us to the Great Hall. Despite our hesitation to part from Gavreel, the importance of the meeting was evident. Gavreel, being new to this realm, needed time to acclimate to her role as Queen. We decided that she would have a few days to familiarize herself before being required to attend all future meetings. The balance between duty and adaptation weighed heavily as we made our way to the Great Hall, leaving Gavreel with a promise to return soon.
Damon cut to the chase as soon as we took our seats. "What's so important that we had to be disturbed with our Queen?" No greetings. No pleasantries. So much Damon like.
Sylvanor Frostsong, the Elf King, responded. "Apologies, my Kings. This matter must be resolved, and the sooner we start preparing, the better."
Despite our initial anger, Sylvanor's reassuring presence eased the tension. Dealing with people is inevitable, but personalities like Sylvanor's make it more manageable. With his wisdom, knowledge, and connection to nature, he brings a sense of calm. Elves, though gentle by nature, surprise with their combat skills, making them a comforting presence for our Queen, given their similar stature.
"Speak," ordered Azazel, his no-nonsense voice cutting through the air.
Sylvanor got straight to the point. "The matter at hand is your Mating Ceremony and the impending coronation of our Queen. It might seem early, but we believe early preparation is crucial and that there's no such thing as too early when it comes to preparation. In the short time we've spent with our Queen, a genuine fondness has grown, and we want nothing but the best for her. Our request is simple: please start preparing for the Ceremony and the Queen."
Sylvanor's delivery was smooth, his words designed to soothe any potential concerns, emphasizing the importance of giving the Queen ample time. The realization of the forgotten plans for the Ceremony and Coronation hit us, dusty plans from centuries past now surfacing. But with the Queen by our side, new ideas would be crafted. It's an opportunity for a fresh start.
GAVREEL'S POV:
We returned to the room where I had initially awakened – our bedroom. I hadn't had the chance to thoroughly examine it during my first encounter, as my attention was promptly diverted by another captivating sight. Now, as I take in the surroundings, it strikes me that this room bears a striking resemblance to one on Earth, but with a profound touch of majesty. It's not just a touch; it's a full-on smooch of regality.
Th room is really fancy. It's got big, colorful curtains with stories on them. The bed is huge and looks super comfy, covered in fancy materials and cool designs. The sunlight comes in through big windows, making the shiny wooden floor light up.
There's a big desk made of dark wood with lots of papers and books. Fancy chairs and sofas are everywhere, and there's a fireplace that must be really cozy in the evenings.
The room has these hanging lights that make everything look golden, and there are big mirrors in gold frames that reflect how awesome everything is. Even though it's super grand, it's also got comfy stuff like soft chairs, a desk with pens, and a nice spot by the window for reading. It's a mix of super fancy and really comfy.
As I surveyed the room, a mischievous idea sparked in my mind. "This place could use a bit of a homely touch," I mused silently, envisioning the reactions of my mates when they see the improvements. A devious, villainous laugh echoed in my thoughts as I plotted the cozy and personal additions that would transform the regal space into a warm and inviting haven for us all.
Lucy, ever the one for banter, interjected, "As much as we love seeing the colorful expressions on your face, let's keep it for later. Right now, we have another matter at hand."
Suppressing a grin, I replied, "Proceed," attempting to mirror the gruff tone of my mates. Despite their kingly status, in this realm, I held the title of the Queen, and a playful dynamic always lingered between us.
"The thing is..." Azazel began, unraveling the details of the Mating Ceremony and Coronation.
"Sure thing," I eagerly agreed, leaning in. "Tell me what I have to do and spill the details on these events. Oh, and when's all of this happening?" My excitement grew with each question, but I couldn't help but notice the curious glances exchanged between my mates.
"What?" I asked, puzzled. "Is there something on my face?" The anticipation building within me now tinged with a hint of bewilderment. Why are they looking at me funny.
"We thought you would be nervous and we will get to cuddle you and soothe you for the whole time. And here you are, getting excited?" Lucy dear is very lousy at keeping his 'sinful' thoughts to himself it seems.
"Cuddles, huh? Well, you could get some, but on one condition," I responded, already formulating my plan.
"What might this condition be?" Damon couldn't help but ask, curiosity etched on his face. The mischievous glint in my eyes hinted that my condition might involve a playful twist to their expectations.
"I want to go shopping after this, and you my dears, are coming with me. And I want to redecorate some things, and you cannot stop me. Agreed?" I declared more than asked.
"Oh, dear, you could ask for our lives, and we would give them to you without a question," Azazel replied, smiling gently.
"Well, where's the fun in that? If you die, who will pay for the stuff I buy today?" I retorted, reveling in a bit of petty revenge. But all I got in return was hearty laughter from my mates, compelling me to join in with their infectious amusement.

One of the story Chef Alford told Gavreel:
King Lucifer, King Azazel, and King Damon were discussing their royal hobbies in the castle garden.
Lucifer: "Gentlemen, I've taken up a new royal hobby that surpasses all others - royal vegetable sculpting!"
Azazel: (raising an eyebrow) "Vegetable sculpting? What kind of royal artistry is that?"
Lucifer: "Ah, you may scoff, but behold my majestic carrot castle and cucumber knights! It's an edible masterpiece."
Damon: (smirking) "Carrot castles? I prefer the traditional royal pastime: jousting, of course. Nothing beats a good old-fashioned knightly competition!"
Azazel: (nodding) "True, jousting is a classic. But I've discovered the joy of royal bird watching. There's nothing like observing the kingdom's feathery subjects in their natural habitat."
Lucifer: (laughing) "Bird watching? Are you sure that's a kingly pursuit?"
Damon: (mock seriousness) "Well, at least bird watching doesn't involve talking to vegetables, Lucifer."
The kings continued to exchange light-hearted banter about their chosen hobbies, turning a simple garden chat into a humorous royal rendezvous.
