Back at the Brink...

While the other squadrons had been set on their first adventures, the brink was quite empty, this usually happens each time they send a new wave of squadrons onto a mission. Although other resistance members were on other types of missions, this was a quiet time at the brink. But it seemed too quiet, while the others were gone. A wave of paranoia covered the citizens in the brink, although nobody knows what caused this. It seemed something had breached and found its way to the brink...

It was midnight, and deep within the brink, a villager had walked out of their house in the brink, they yelled out.

"Anyone out there?" The villager yelled out, and then he saw it.

The villager ran behind a tree. Taking over as 3 suspicious figures turned around.

It was the same squad of 3 that passed Brawler. Cultist, transcendent, and stray.

Cultist stood in front of Stray and Transcendent, them both being next to each other. Stray and transcendent stood Perfectly still. No signs of breathing or life, they were like robots.

"I have freed both of you, most of the resistance fighters have left. We are free to continue with our goal." Cultist spoke. His voice was deep as if it was almost distorted.

"Patience mortal one, although you have freed our physical appearance, our power is not at its full potential. We will need time before we can unleash us." Stray and transcendent both spoke at the same time, their voices aligning as both of their voices emitted odd echoes as if someone was speaking through them.

"Very well, but don't forget I control you." Cultist threatened.

"Of course, mortal one." Again, stray and transcendent acted as one, bowing at the same time. Even with the same movements...

Back to the story.

We continued through the wicked wasteland. As we Mostly stayed quiet, and then I turned back.

No signs of life anywhere, it felt like miles of Nothing, what was going on? Were there really any other droids? That tank spawner was probably the last thing here, although I kept moving. Healer just moved forward.

"Healer leader lady, are you okay? I think we're just walking into nothing at this point." Elementalist made an annoyed sigh.

Then, out of the blue. The ground shook. We all huddled together, backs facing each other as we got into defensive positions.

"Elementalist, don't speak. EVER, AGAIN." She annoyingly replied.

"What! Not my fault something appears when I whine or when I think healers going insane."Elementalist yelled out, raising his hands as he cast his spells.  The orbs appeared in both his hands.
"Hey! I'm not insane! Respect your squadron leaders." Healer responded, with a slightly angered yet still high-pitched and happy voice.
