Fights tonight
Iris
After having lunch with Alexandra and Jason, I headed back home. I was looking for an outfit to wear tonight. I grabbed some high waisted flared black pants. They had a sweater-like material which I loved.
I pulled out a emerald green t-shirt and slipped that on along with some black socks and black shoes. I went into the bathroom and put on some mascara. Slipping on my necklace that I always wore along with my rings, I grabbed my black cross body bag.
"Mom, I'm heading out to watch Jason. I'll be back tonight" I said. She said 'goodbye' and I headed out the door and followed the address that Jason sent me.
I pulled in and go to the door that he told me to go into. Walking in the door I immediately get stopped."Ma'am you can't come in this way" A man said. I looked at him confused. Looking down at my phone I made sure this was the right door to go into.
"Oh well Jason said this was the door to come into" I said.
"Like as in Jason Black?" The man asked.
"Yes sir. That's my older brother" I said. He looked at me like he didn't believe me. I was about to say something again until I heard Blaze's voice."She's with us Micheal." Blaze said. Micheal had turned around and nodded his head at Blaze. He let me through.
"I'm sorry about that Ma'am. That was my fault for not realizing you were with Blaze and Jason" Michael said.
"That's alright. There's no need to be sorry. Thank you" I said as I gave him a smile.
I was about to walk pass him until, he handed me something. I smiled at him and took the piece of paper from him. I looked at the paper as I walked towards Blaze. It was a phone number.
Blaze looked over my shoulder and grab the paper throwing it in the trash. I looked at him shocked."Micheal" Blaze said as he looked back at him.
"Fuck off bro. She's taken" Blaze said. I looked at him shocked as he put his arm around me and walked me away from Michael. I got out of his grasp."You had no right to do that" I said.
"He wouldn't be right for you anyways" Blaze said. He had no say in who I talked to or who handed me their number.
"Blaze, you told him I was taken. I'm not taken by anyone. You had absolutely no right to do that. You're not my boyfriend and the last time I checked you had a girlfriend" I said as I looked over and see Jason with Alexandra.
I started walking over to them and Blaze gently grabbed my hand."Iris wait please" Blaze said. I took my hand out of his grip and shook my head at him. It hurt me to say that he wasn't mine. I wanted him to be mine, so bad.
I walked towards Jason and Alexandra. Alexandra saw me first and came over to me. She spun me around causing me to smile. I laughed as she took my hand and dragged me over to Jason."Jason I found my lucky lady of the night" Alexandra said. Jason just laughed as he smiled at me.
"I'm glad you came sis. Did you find Blaze?" Jason asked. I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah unfortunately" I whispered as I heard Jason's name getting called to the ring.
Alexandra and I headed over to watch Jason fight. I looked over and saw Blaze looking at me. I rolled my eyes as I continued to watch Jason fight.
I felt my arm get nudged. I turned towards Alexandra."So what's between you and Blaze over there. He's staring a hole into your soul" Alexandra said.
I let out a sigh and turned and looked at Blaze again.
"It's complicated. I have always liked him growing up, but he never felt the same about me so I let the little crush go, or so I thought. When I got here the body guard Micheal had handed me his phone number and Blaze told him to fuck off saying I was taken. He has a girlfriend, but is still protected over me and I don't know why" I said.
Alexandra smiled at me, almost as if she knew the reason why. She put her arm around me as I looked up and see the other man on the floor.
Jason won his match. I let out a scream and clapped for him like many others had did as well."Next up we have Blaze Maxwell vs Jeremiah Dax" The referee said. I watched intently even though I was still mad at Blaze.
Before the match had started Blaze came over to Alexandra and I. He leaned down and whispered in my ear.
"I'm sorry about earlier, I shouldn't have done that and-
"Blaze come on there starting" his coach said as I smiled at him. He nodded his head and made his way into the ring. He looked over at me again. I saw Jeremiah look between Blaze and I. I saw a smirk forming on his face.
That didn't seem good. The match had started. As match one had ended, Blaze looked over at me once again.
"Now if I didn't know any better Blaze. That's not your girl right there" Jeremiah said. The second match had started.
"That's none of your damn business Jeremiah" Blaze said as he delivered a under cut to the jaw. Jeremiah stumbled back.
"If she's not your girl then you wouldn't mind me taking her out some time. Her and her fine looking self" Jeremiah said.
That just seemed to get Blaze even more heated than it should have. He sent a punch to his jaw and Jeremiah was out cold.
Blaze walked over to his corner and then looked at me once again.
