I wake up to the sound of my alarm, clock going off and I groan and bang, my fist, on my fucking clock. I stand up and open my closet, and pick out an outfit to put on after, I shower and with the that said I walk over to my bathroom, and turn on the lights. " bro it's so, fucking early" I said as I put my outfit on the counter of the sink. I turned around and opened, the shower curtain and turned on the water and wait for the water to turn, hot and I strip out of my clothes and once the water was hot enough, I turned around and got in the shower.

After I was done showering I turned the water off and got out. I dried my hair, and my body with my towel and I started to put my clothes on. After, I was done putting my, clothes on I got out my bathroom and put my dirty clothes, on my laundry basket in my room And went back to my bathroom to get ready.

After a few 50 minutes, of getting ready I put my toothbrush away after brushing, my teeth and turned the lights off and got out the bathroom. And I grabbed my backpack, and went to open my bedroom door and got out.

As I got down stairs I, saw my brother and my parents eating breakfast together. " hey Lyd you're up early" my dad said, as he took a bite of his food. " yeah well I've Been up since five fifteen" I said as I put my backpack, on the couch I sigh as I turned around and looked at my foster parents, and my brother. I am so grateful to have my foster parents, and not my abusive
biological, parents, who my biological father raped me when I was only eleven years, old. " really why so early" I looked at my dad and i realized that my brother, was looking at me probably knowing why, I zoned out. "I'm sorry what did you say I wasn't focusing" I say as I walk towards the table that they, are sitting at and pull out a chair and sit down.

" I said why were you up so early sweetheart you okay" he said as he looked, at me with worry clear in his eyes. " yeah I'm fine" I said with a fake smile that was plastered, right in my face. " are you sure you're fine sweetie you, know you can talk to us" my mom said as she put her hand on my shoulder.

" yeah I know I'm fine really don't worry about me" I said as I tried, to convince my parents that I was okay but I really wasn't, like okay I know that it happened four years ago but it was still a sensitive subject, to bring up, and that's not all there was still more that happened in my life with my biological parents and the only, person that actually cared about me was my grandpa but he moved to New York, like a few weeks ago.

After we where all done Eating, me and Billy got up and put are plates in the sink and head out the door and we walk to School.

As we walk towards the streets of Denver, and I look up when I hear Billy talking to me.

" hey you Alright Lyd" Billy said

" yeah I'm fine why you asking" I said

" well when dad asked, why you woke up so early you zoned out" he said

" just got deep in thought that's all" I said as I looked away from him.

" alright" he said
