Lucys apartment part 1

Lucy's POV:
I start lighting candles as Tim was coming over. I heard a knock and looked at the time '6:30' Tim shouldn't be here for another half an hour . But then again it's Tim Bradford. He showed up half an hour early to his own surprise party. I finished lighting all the candles, i walked to the door but I turned around to look back at at my living room, I can feel the warmth and comfort from my front door. I turn around and open the door. "Hey" I say with a shaky breath I cough to get my voice back to normal. Wait what's going on why am I nervous , it's Tim, friend Tim,your old T.O Tim. "Hey" he replies. Wait was that nervousness in his voice to.
"Do you wanna a beer?"
"Yeh, thank you" Tim replies looking back from my sofa to see me already handing him a beer. "If this gonna work than our backstory has to be air tight." Tim starts
"Yeh, umm how did Dim and Juicy meet"
"A barbecue"Tim replies and i cant help make a face
"That's lame"
"Oh like you can do better"he challenges but i can see on his face he completely regrets it.

Tim's POV:(right after Lucy's)
Oh no I shouldn't of challenged Lucy because now she is gonna go above and beyond. All because I taught her to but that's not the point.
"Watch me" Lucy replies, oh god here we go. "You were on the run from the cops, bank robbery gone wrong. Your frantic looking for a place to stay and i opened the door, I lied to the cops for you." My jaw dropped a little. "Oh and i got me so hot that we hooked up while they were still searching the building." Now this is when my jaw dropped fully,she was sat there smirking while i was putting myself together
Ok that was good" she had had smug smile on her face. "Look we have to address the elephant in the room" i started but she looks confused. "if we are going to be boyfriend and girlfriend then we might have to ... you know." I point out, but daring to say the unspoken word. "Might have to what" oh she is evil, does she thinks i cant see that adorable smirk on her face, wait what am i thinking. "Do you not ..."
"Ok, ok we might have to...PDA?"
"You know what forget it"
"NO! Yeh, yes your right,"Lucy lets out a chuckle "if we are gonna have to kiss, it probably shouldn't be for the first time." She finishes.
"Thats what I'm saying," i say with a shaky breath.'are i am really about to kiss Lucy Chen. The Lucy Chen, my best friend Lucy Chen, my former boot Lucy Chen.' I start over thinking. I realise we have been there for 2 minutes. Then she asks "should we maybe stand?"
"Yeh sure" i reply
"Ok this is good"she sighs and we lean into each other"nope," Lucy backs out. Wait lucy Chen backed out of something and that something was kissing me. I wish she was backing out of dating Chris instead ... wait what am i thinking I'm with ... uhh Ashley i wanna break up with her she is so boring like Chris is. I remember I have to say something but all i could say was "you know what we are professional lets just get this done with,"
"Woah, well that's romantic,"
"Im not trying to be romantic"
"Well your succeeding' i give her the 'are you serious' look."sorry, sorry" we are now inches away from each other.then I'm the one to make the move i go to lean in and again Lucy goes and TURNS AWAY
"Hold on just yes good"
"Take your time"
"Hmm, yep" i sigh "yep, i yes I'm ready" she finishes
