Finney's POV

After yesterday I wanted to look for more clues since it was spring break I went out to look for more clues. Walking down the street a dog approached me "aw Hi where's your owner?" I checked the collar it said max and it had Billy's address... I remembered something

Flashback

I was walking home from school when Billy approached me "Hey finn!" I was surprised "hey Billy aw what a cute dog you have" "yea he's name is max you can pet him" I pet max he was fluffy "why weren't you at school?" "Woke up late sorry finn" Billy scratched the back of his head as he apologized "it's ok" "get home safe finn" "you too Billy" I continued walking home

End of flashback

This was Billy's dog max I took max to his original house I rung the doorbell Mrs Showalter opened the door "oh hello young man what do you need?" Billy's mom was sweet "oh hi Mrs Showalter I found your dog max!" Max ran inside "oh! Thank you so much I haven't seen max since my son went missing" Mrs Showalter pet max "yea I thought it'd be nice if I took max home"

"Thank you again get home safe" Mrs Showalter said it was the exact same words Billy said that one day "thank you!" I walked off curious I just found Billy's dog I couldn't find anything else... Unless... I ran to the same exact spot seeing a piece of Billy's bike that had his name I picked it up and put it in my bag

While I was out I went to the store to buy snacks I ended up running into lily "hey Finn" lily was vances little sister "hey lily how are you handling things?" I asked softly

"Bad... I just miss my brother bothering me every 5 seconds and us arguing over stupid shit..." Lily looked down "it's ok lily I'm sure we'll find him hopefully alive" lily nodded

I bought snacks for me and lily, lily walked back home while I was doing the same I felt bad losing a loved one was hard...
