(Sakura is not gonna die, she's the main character so chill:D)

"HANDLER!" Sakura yelled out, Handler looked surprised but yelled for everyone to keep going from above. Haku was shocked as he looked up to see his friend get manhandled like a doll in the dragon's grip, he was about to race after the beast until he felt a firm hand on his shoulder.

"She'll take care of it, she's not weak Haku." Zabuza spoke up, Haku let out a long sigh before both of them continued to the entrance of the hunter village on the other side of the island, his pace speeding up with each step.

Back up in the skies, Sakura struggled against the grip of the dragon. It was a deep crimson color, with yellow cat-like eyes. And it definitely wasn't being gentle towards the pinkette.

"DAMN BEAST! Let go of me!!" Sakura struggled against the grip of the dragon's talons, until she jabbed the blade of her gun lance straight into the dragon's leg with chakra infusing her muscles. Causing the dragon to roar out in pain, it let go of Sakura as she was now holding onto her weapon that was lodged into the beast for dear life, her grip tightened on the handle.

The dragon looked at her with hatred, and she started to get nervous. Those eyes reminded her of ones she never wanted to remember.

'I'll make you pay for what you did, Orochimaru.' Sakura thought with a scowl slowly emerging onto her face.

Sakura soon steeled her nerves and swung up to the back of the dragon, ripping the weapon out of its leg and proceeding to stab the gun lance's barrel into the spine of the beast.

Causing it to suddenly jerk forward, but Sakura didn't care, she gripped the handle even tighter, her knuckles turning pale.

"Shannaro!" Sakura exclaimed before pulling the trigger, activating the gun's ignition and watching as the stomach of the dragon exploded outward from the opposite side from where she had her gun lodged into it. Blood splurged from the dragon's scales as a roar from its mouth shook her body.

The dragon swayed from side to side as its wings dropped and swayed, causing her to land on her knees and grip onto the dragon's scales before it started to plummet back down to earth. The wind hitting Sakura's face like a brick.

"WAHHHH!!!!" She screamed from the depths of her soul as she held onto both her weapon and the dead dragon for dear life and fell through the skies. Handler heard a distant scream and looked up to lock eyes with the half dead dragon. Her mouth hung open with surprise.

"Holy cow!" Handler called out, cursing a bit at the sheer surprise of what she was looking at, catching people's attention as they also looked up to see a pink haired girl holding onto a dead dragon that fell through the sky.

The duo was approaching rapidly, until Sakura used the gunlance to jerk the dragon to the left, it was a good idea at first.

Until a wing from the limp dragon smacked her off of its back and onto its gaping stomach, Sakura held back her lunch at the bloody scene.

"Get going! I'll catch up!" Sakura yelled before completely disappearing from sight. Haku got dragged by Zabuza over to the monster hunter headquarters, while protesting to go back.

Meanwhile Sakura was trying her best not to get crushed by a dead dragon tumbling down a forest path with her tangled in its guts. If she wasn't a doctor, she'd probably have lost her lunch. As she tumbled to a stop, she let out a groan and rolled away from all the blood and guts with a disgusted expression.

She had tumbled quite a ways from her original destination, looking around she saw the headquarters only barely peaking over the trees.

"Just my luck, where's Kakashi and his water dragon when you need him," Sakura grumbled before standing up and wiping some blood and mucus off of herself. Itachi came running up to her with a smile and a meow. Making Sakura feel a little better.
