The door creaked open, a small mutter followed by several footsteps catching the half angel's attention. Looking up from his phone, Good's head turned over his shoulder. His face practically speaking concern as he watched the other drag himself to the kitchen to pour himself another cup of coffee. Currently, the brunette seemed like he was on the verge of collapsing after placing down the coffee pitcher. His body suddenly jumped as arms wrapped around his waist, weight placed on his shoulder while soft breathing made contact with his ear.

"What's annoying you now?" Good mumbled, his eyes lingering on the other's face. Instead of a response, all he heard was a small groan. An arm pushed his body away, narrowed eyes glaring at him.

"Just leave me alone, I'm not in the mood right now," Jef sighed, pushing the rest of Good's weight off of him. He then picked up his coffee mug once more, dragging himself back inside his room.

In the kitchen though, Good was conflicted with the bitterness he received. He gave a hard stare at the door as though he was trying to see what was happening through it. Giving a shrug, he laid back down on the couch, hoping Jef would break out of this bad mood hopefully soon. It's only been three days and it's already bothering the half angel.

Those three days eventually became a week, Jef's attitude not changing one bit. He continued to leave his room every morning and night for a refill of coffee before going back to his room for the rest of the time. Good remained concerned, silently tasked with chores the other usually took care of while he waited. It wasn't too much trouble getting up more to take care of groceries, cooking and cleaning, but it was becoming irritating when the one week turned to three.

Good gave a sigh, taking off the apron Jef usually wore before placing down one bowl of noodles. The half angel turned to the door, ready to hand dinner to the other male in the house. And just as he predicted, the bedroom door opened up a few seconds later.

Out stepped an exhausted Jef, his eyes barely open as he wobbled over. With a hand supporting himself, he poured himself another cup of coffee before thanking Good for the bowl of noodles. Jef was just about to head back when the other stopped him.

"Pumpkin you're gonna fucking collapse, let me hold those for you," Good stated, his hands ready to catch him if he would at that moment.

Jef squinted his eyes, giving a shake of his head in response. "I'm fine.." He mumbled, slowly dragging himself away. Good watched him about halfway, going over to help in case during the other half. Reaching inside, Good closed the door behind him, still keeping an eye on the other. He watched him place down the bowl and mug, taking a seat back on his gamer chair. He continued to watch him on his bed, taking a peek at the screen Jef stared at.

Good became bored after a few minutes of watching him type, wishing he brought his own dinner with him. "Jef, uh.. do you want me to feed you? You're gonna spill everything," Good once again spoke up, earning an annoyed groan from the other.

"I'm fine," Jef repeated, eyes fixated on the screen in front of him as he swallowed a spoonful of noodles. Both ended up sitting in silence for a while after that, the sounds of typing, eating and drinking overtaking most of the quietness. Minutes passed, Good getting up to leave the room. "You better go to fucking bed soon." That was the last thing the half angel said before leaving the other alone for the rest of the night.

More time passed, both males becoming more irritated each day. It wasn't too much of an issue for Good though, all his days the same as he waited for Jef to finally finish what he was working on. The only thing that really bothered him was the amount of time he had alone, sitting around not doing much but bothering other friends from time to time. He grew annoyed whenever those friends were busy though, usually going over to Jef instead during other times. There's been many attempts to help him, or at least make him take a small break. But all of them failed, ending with Jef guiding Good out of his room.

Fed up with the recurring events, Good pushed over the door and marched beside Jef. Giving a final sigh, the half angel wrapped his arms around the other, adjusting his awkward position to an actual hug afterwards. "Yeah no, you're leaving this computer for a while pumpkin," Good mumbled, his hand trailing over to grab onto Jef's. The other froze in annoyance, watching as Good turned off the computer for him. With narrowed eyes, he took his hand back and grabbed onto the mug's handle.

"Good, I know you want my attention, but I've gotta finish this.." Jef stated, taking a quick sip of his 12th coffee that day.

Good hurriedly made him put down the mug, pushing the chair he's on back from the desk. "No, you're stopping whatever the fuck you're doing and going to sleep. Those eyebags make you look shittier than usual." He supported Jef's back with one hand, using the other to slide under his legs. Giving a quick warning, Good picked him up from the chair. He made sure the other wouldn't fall, carrying him to his bed and setting him down on the mattress. He made a hesitant decision, seating himself besides Jef.

Jef was quick to get comfortable, his arms instinctively wrapping around Good. This caused the half angel to pause for a second, giving another sigh and wrapping his own arms around him. Both settled in this position, Good a bit tense as he brushed aside Jef's hair, noting to himself the ways Jef would comfort him. He gave a chuckle, "Who's the whiny cat now, hm?"

No response was heard. Looking down, Good smiled slightly at the sight. Below him, Jef clinged tightly to his body, soft snores escaping his throat with his eyes closed loosely. Unaware of his flushed face, Good continued stroking his hair as time passed.
