Jef shook, pulling his legs up to his chest. He could feel Good's burning glare, not leaving him at all. He hesitated, immediately deciding not to speak and turning away. He clenched tightly onto the shirt he was wearing, starting to relax until Good spoke.
"I wish you didn't make such an impact on me."
Jef caught a lump in his throat, hearing Good breathe heavily from earlier. From earlier.. all of the loud noises played in his head again. The loud breathing, yelling, sobbing, especially the doors being slammed hard. It wasn't a good idea at all. This only made Jef tremble more, struggling to hold back his tears any longer. He bit his lip and covered his face, trying so hard to comfort himself.
Good saw. He didn't know what to do. He only stood in silence, grabbing onto ahold of his surroundings again.
"Jef..?"
"Don't talk to me," The other male was able to whisper back, barely audible.
Good's heart dropped.
"What. Jef," Good took a step forward.
His body froze. He looked up and over at the demon.
"Darryl, I said not now," He huffed. "Leave me alone already! I don't want to talk to you, I don't even want to think about you. I just want to fix this!" He ended up screaming. He breathed, looking down to his shaky cold hand. He looked back up. Good was gone.
Barely a minute later Jef had broken down. Tears filled up his vision and his mouth went dry. His hair was soaked, covering his upper face and scattered messily on his head. He grasped onto his chest, and fell back against the wall. Jef swept his hair aside, only the tears now making it hard for him to see. Everything was a mess.
Just like before. Like their stupid relationship.
...
A few hours had passed since their fight. The demon male peeked into the room Jef was in before, noticing he had passed out laying on the floor. He walked out to the living room, grabbing the blanket that laid there and making his way back. Taking a heavy breath, Good held onto the blanket below his arm and picked up Jef, placing him onto the nearby bed and tucking him in. Before he was able to take a step away or turn around, Jef had grabbed his arm.
Good jolted and looked back at him, seeing he was now awake. With red and puffy eyes, Jef sniffed and pulled Good back.
"Please don't leave.." He sleepily mumbled, his eyes slowly shutting tight again.
A hard guilty feeling struck the other male, making him sit next to him. He stared, Jef having already fallen asleep having a tight grip on his arm.
