Jef stood there, dazed. The wind brushed past his hair and face, the feeling of the floor beneath his feet grounding him down. As his consciousness slowly settled, sudden movement finally caught his attention. The male gave a panicked gasp, taking a step back while frantically examining his surroundings. Although where he stood it seemed like a normal forest, trees everywhere, the sun shining in the light blue sky, and the wooden path holding sturdy below him, something was.. off.
The brunette felt his back shudder, deciding to have a look around first. The first thing he saw after a few seconds of walking was a large wooden structure, fences standing around the path to prevent anyone from falling into the water. Curiosity was quick to take over, Jef cautiously approaching the building. At first, it was silent. Nothing and no one nearby, that was until a presence stood behind the brunette.
"Skeppy?"
The sudden call of a name scared the male, causing him to push his back against the door with a shriek. "W-who? Huh?!"
In front of him, the other stared with a concerned look. They stood with a relaxed stance, brown bangs with red tips brushing over their green eyes. "You uh.. you okay, Skeppy? I thought you were visiting Tommy," They spoke up, taking another step closer.
Still scared shitless from before, Jef pressed his back more firmly against the wooden door. "Visiting.. Tommy? I think you have the wrong person," Jef lightly chuckled, hoping his personal space would be given back. The other though responded with a tilt of their head. Upon further inspection, the taller demon realized the marking's color. Instead of lightly colored blue crystals, orange diamonds instead littered the brunette's face.
"Oh muffins! I'm so sorry, you really look similar to someone I know," The demon spoke, taking a step back as their hand nervously brushed up against their neck. Jef gave a gentle nod, unsure how else to respond as he stood still against the wooden surface. "What brings you here anyways? I've never seen you before.."
Silence filled the air, both males staring at each other as Jef tried his best to think. How did he even end up here..? All he remembered was the sound of purring while his eyes closed gently, awaiting sleep to overtake his body. "I.. don't know."
The demon continued to stare at the brunette, now suddenly thinking of all the conflicts. It wasn't until an idea popped into their head. "You can stay with me until we find a way to return you home," They smiled, their bright fangs shining just slightly in the sun. Jef happily returned the smile, agreeing as if there were no worries.
Giving a signal of his hand, the demon turned around to walk to where Jef assumed would be where he was staying. His legs moved on their own, following close behind the taller male. It wasn't until a few seconds later that Jef spoke up again.
"I haven't gotten your name, I'm Jef by the way!"
The other turned over to face him just enough, the fanged smile never leaving their face. "My name's Badboyhalo. But you can just call me Bad."
