"Goodbye Evie, See you on Sunday!" We waved from the boarding house door. She waved back before she got into her mums blue mini and drove away. It was Friday. Everyone was returning home for the long bank holiday weekend, except us.

Jodie stumbled downstairs with her school bag and suitcase. She fell over the last step and we all rushed over to help her up. "Thanks guys. I'm so jealous; you are going to have tons of fun while I'm stuck with my moody older sister, who has her hands glued to her mobile." Jodie moaned just before a horn beeped from the top of the hill. "That's my ride. See you, guys!" She stuck out her tongue before running outside into the warm May sunlight. "Bye!" we called after her in chorus.

We turned around to go back inside when Phoebe came into the hall on her phone. "Fine. Two minutes." She sounded annoyed as she slipped her mobile back into her pocket. "I hate Dan so much. He is literally the worst brother ever," she muttered loudly. "Try having a little sister Phoebe!" I laughed. "His girlfriend's coming around, and she always pretends to be some kind of angel in front of my parents and they fall for her little at; every time!"

A red sports car pulled up in the car park and beeped its horn loudly. "He's taken Dad's car again! Great, she's here." We laughed. "So, see you guys on Sunday then?" She asked walking backwards up the hill with her bags.

"Sorry Phoebe, we won't be here." I told her, joking.

"I know you won't, you will have died of boredom from the loss of yours truly!" She said dramatically. We shouted goodbye to Phoebe and stood outside in the bright sunlight until the loud roar of the engine had faded into the distance.

"This weekend is going to be great but I wish it was all six of us." Olivia said when we went into the living room.

"Hey, but look on the bright side." I smiled cheekily. "More popcorn for us!" We all laughed and went into the living room to watch Tv. It was an average Friday.
