At the Narita International Airport, Y/N and Gojo are seen entering in the Airport so they can go to Jujutsu High so Y/N can be enrolled, allowing him to become a Jujutsu Sorcerer as well as go to a school in Academy City. Y/N and Gojo go to get their luggage from the conveyor belts, mostly Gojo cause Y/N doesn't own anything except for the clothes on his body as well as the necklace he wears around his neck. After getting their luggage Y/N and Gojo head outside to wait for their ride to Jujutsu high. While waiting, Y/N understandably, is shocked and a bit overwhelmed by his new surroundings. In the short time he's been awake, he woke up in the North Pole, saw a giant snow monster which is apparently something called a cursed spirit, saw Gojo pretty much massacre said cursed spirit without breaking a sweat, spend the night at an inn in a Russian military base, gets on a plane to Tokyo Japan, arrive at an airport in Japan which is way bigger than he thought it would be, and is now standing outside of said building. A bit overwhelmed is more of an understatement, Gojo takes notice of this and asks.
Gojo: Nervous.
Y/N: Y-yeah...
Gojo goes to give Y/N a pat on the back and says.
Gojo: Hey it's going to be ok, no need to be worried. I guarantee you this, you'll be alright.
Y/N: R-really...
Gojo: Yeah! You'll be ok you'll see!
As Gojo says that he gives Y/N a big smile. This puts Y/N a little more at ease. But this makes him think of something he didn't ask when they were at Russia... Why is Gojo wearing a blindfold??? Y/N thinking this he asks Gojo his question.
Y/N: Hey Gojo?
Gojo: Hm yeah...
Y/N: I have a question...
Gojo: Shoot.
Y/N: Why do you wear a blindfold, I mean can't you see.
Gojo: Oh this well, I wear this because of one of my cursed techniques...
Y/N: Really...
Gojo: Yeah, one of them is called the Six Eyes. There mostly more effective against or seeing cursed energy. Though having them stay uncovered tends to cause a lot of fatigue, and that's a pain when it happens. So I cover my eyes to maintain stable cursed energy. Stable cursed energy means no fatigue, which means I won't be exhausted when I'm out exorcising cursed spirits. Also to fully answer your question, yes I can see when the blindfold is on. Though it's more of the fact that I can see cursed energy emitting from both humans and cursed spirits.
Gojo says as he lifts his blindfold up a little bit to show Y/N one of his eyes.

Y/N: Wow, well that explained one of my questions. Though now I'm wondering, why do you need to exorcise cursed spirits?
Gojo: Well the only way to get rid of cursed spirits is to exorcise them, and the only way to do that is by using cursed energy.
