Violet

Chapter 2

Marco’s POV:

I watch as Violet snuggles into the blankets. I gently kiss her on her forehead and me and Leana walk out of our room and go downstairs to the living room. I saw all our sons sitting around doing their normal things. “Boys” Leana said, causing their heads to snap in our direction. “Oh, hey dad, when did you get home?” Mason asked. “A few minutes ago, but that is not what is important right now. We want to talk to you boys about something.” I said. They all nod their heads, and we take a seat in the love seat.

“On my mission a few hours ago, I ran into a slight complication. Since you guys have always wanted a sister, how do you feel about having a sister now in the family?” I asked. The boys were silent for a while until Luke immediately stood up, “HELL YEAH” He yelled. “Shh” Leana quickly shushed him. “No yelling” Leana said. “I ran into a little girl on my mission, and she was a wreck and so I brought her here and introduced her to your mother and we were talking about adopting her as our own since you all know your mother can’t have another kid. So, adopting her is what we were going to do after we talked to you boys about it. We talked to our lawyers and did some paperwork and her parents; well, her foster parents gave us the yes to adopting her. Her name is Violet, and she was abused and so we wanted to make sure you guys were okay with having a new sister in the family.” I said.

The boys look at each other and then at us and nod their heads. I nod my head and stand up. “Lorenzo, Come with me.” I said, walking upstairs.

Violet’s POV:

I wake up and yawn. I slowly open my eyes and sit up. I was in a massive room; it was so simple yet big. I slowly get out of bed and walk around. I saw a window seat and quickly ran to it and sat down looking out the window.

I was so engrossed with the view I didn’t hear the door open. “Bambina” I heard Marco say. I quickly turn my head and see him and another man standing beside the bed a few feet away from me. Marco gives me a smile and slowly walks towards me. “Bambina, I want you to meet my oldest son, Lorenzo. Lorenzo, I want you to meet Violet.” Marco says. “Hello Violet” Enzo says. I slightly waved at him and looked at Marco. He smiles and nods his head while picking me up. “She wants to touch your face. It allows her to know you're not going to hurt her.” Marco says to Enzo. Enzo nods his head and slightly walks our way and I gently lift my right hand to his cheek, and he smiles. I smiled and held my arms out to him as I did to Leana.

Enzo looks at Marco and he nods his head at Enzo and then Enzo puts his hands under my armpits and takes me from Marco. I start to play with buttons on his shirt as Marco starts talking to him in a weird language. “Violet” I hear Marco say. I look up from Enzo’s shirt at Marco. “Is it okay with you if Lorenzo stays with you while you get introduced to my other sons? Me and Leana have to go on a business trip, okay?” he asked. Business trip? Other sons? Stay with Enzo? I clutch Enzo’s shirt with my right hand and hold my other hand out towards Marco. He gently put his hand into mine and I slowly unclutched Enzo’s shirt and wrote my words on Marco’s hand like I did in the car. ‘When you back’ I asked on his hand.

“We will be back in two weeks. Don’t worry, you got Enzo, so the others won’t bother you much.” Marco said. I nod and lay my head on Enzo’s chest. I saw Marco nod his head at Enzo. “Let's go meet the others Bambina” Marco said. Marco and Enzo leave the room with Enzo still carrying me. I lifted my head and looked around; it was pretty. “Do you like it fiore?” Enzo whispered. I give him a smile and nod while still looking around. Once I was done looking around, I laid my head on his shoulder and snuggled my head into his neck. “Boys, I want you to meet Violet. Violet, I want you to meet my other sons.” Marco said. I slowly lift my head and look around until I see a group of boys sitting around the living room. I felt my anxiety spike and quickly stuffed my face back into Enzo’s neck.  “She’s adorable” I heard someone say. I clutched Enzo’s shirt and felt my cheeks heat up.

(After the Introductions)

Marco and Leana left 2 hours ago. I have been in the game room, (as the boys call it) with the boys, sitting on Enzo’s lap. I haven’t left his arms since I was introduced to him. He doesn’t seem to mind at all, so I haven’t left him. To be honest, I kind of trust him more than the other boys. The boys were playing video games and yelling when one of them kills the other person or when they get killed by a player. I was playing with some fidgety thing Ares got me. After Marco and Leana left, Ares went to the store and got me some fidget toys, so I don’t have to keep scratching my hands because of my anxiety.

I was playing with the hot pink fidget pen while Enzo was holding me and playing with the black one. Him and Mason were talking in a different language. Levi and Leo were somewhere in the house. “WHAT THE HELL MAN” I heard someone yelled, causing me to jump and quickly turn on Enzo and hug him, hiding my face in his chest. I felt his arms go around me and I felt like I was safe and away from everything. “Se continui a urlare e urlare, allora aiutami. Ti sparo il culo.” Enzo said. I could literally hear the boy's gulp in fear. “Fiore, it’s okay. They were just playing; they didn’t mean to scare you.” Enzo whispered into my ear. I Snuggled closer to him. “We’re back” someone said. “Is that food?” someone asked, excitedly. I lift my head and turn around to see Levi and Leo carrying 11 bags of McDonald’s. “We got McD’s, and everyone has double food in the bags.” Leo said, handing out the bags. “This princess gets some nuggets and fries.” Levi said, handing the bags to Enzo. Enzo takes the bags from Levi and places them next to us. I give a slight smile to Levi and face Enzo again as he takes stuff out of the bags.

He opens a small box and there were some good-looking nuggets. He hands me one and I give him a smile and gently take it. I take a small bite and watch as Enzo takes a big box out of another bag and opens it, I see a big burger.

I looked at Enzo with wide eyes and he chuckled at my expression. He takes a bite of the burger and then holds it out to me. I look at the burger and take a small bite. I look at Enzo and shake my head. He smiles and hands me another nugget. I take it and take small bites. The boys start talking while eating, as I just lay my head on Enzo’s chest and continue taking small bites from the chicken nugget. He wraps his arms around me and continues to eat his burger and talk to the boys.

I wasn’t even halfway done eating the box of nuggets, but I was full. I think Mason noticed though. “Bella ragazza why aren’t eating?” he asked. I shake my head and snuggle closer to Enzo. “Looks like someone isn’t going to be leaving your side anytime soon Lorenzo.” Luke said. I felt Enzo put his hands under my armpits and I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck and tightened my legs around his waist. “Fiore, you got to get up some time. I got work to do.” Enzo said. I felt tears come down my face. I shake my head and move closer to him.

“I’m going to go give her a bath.” Enzo said, standing up with me in his arms. “Okay. Bye princessa” the boys said. I wave bye without picking my head up from Enzo’s neck. After a few minutes of being carried around. I Enzo place me down on something soft. I look around to see we’re in a bedroom, I look up at Enzo and he was already across the room looking through a closet.
