It Costs to Love the Boss

Chapter 2.

Today has been a long day for me. After class I was walking with my girlfriend when I couldn't help but recognize this crowd.

"Hey baby look,"I said to Serayah.

"What are they doing?"she asked.

"I don't know but I'm about yo find out,"I said pulling her along with me.

"I can't see,"she said.

"New assistant needed for Toni Braxton in the Los Angeles area,"I read out loud.

"Oh cool Toni Braxton decided to find a new assistant here at our school,"she said.

"Yea and she's offering a hell of a lot of money too,"I said.

"Look there's a number at the bottom you should call them,"she insisted.

"You sure?"I asked.

"Yea why not?"she asked.

"You right I'll go call,"I said locking the number into my phone.

The Next Day

Toni POV

Today Towanda made flyers about hiring me a new assistant since my current one is just horrible. He almost burned my damn house down that I worked hard for making me some Damn tea. Then the tea pot was plastic now we all know plastic and fire don't mix and could only cause a Big mess. Anyway since Towanda is out finding me a new assistant I decided to spend the day with my boys and not focus on work but just on my family.

I climbed out of bed put my slippers on and walked down the hall into Denim's ,my oldest son, room feeling the sun beam a little through his blinds as I looked in the corner to find our dog Bentley curled up in a ball in his bed. I couldn't help but laugh to myself. I closed his door shaking my head as I began to walk into my other son Diezel's room. He was all stretched out with his feet hanging out of bed as well as his arms with the TV on and me being the mother I am I turned it off and closed the silently then I walked downstairs to the kitchen.

Towanda POV

Today is going to be a busy day for me simply because I have to find Toni a new assistant before she kills the one she has now and try to make me hers again. Now don't get me wrong, I love my sister dearly but since my marriage hasn't been so hot and I'm missing on my children growing up I needed to find a different way to help my sister. Besides she can be bossy and rude at times but I guess when you don't like to be taken advantage of you have to put on some tough skin.

Anyway I decided to reserve a spot at a Café so that I could find Toni the perfect assistant. She needs someone who doesn't need to be told something every 10 or 15 minutes. This person should know his/her schedule and should get along with our family especially the boys and Bentley because those are her main focus right there.

I went into my closet and found me this cute little outfit. I put on a grey off the shoulder crop top some jeans and my black heels. Then I did my hygiene and put my hair in a ponytail. After that I grabbed my purse keys and sunglasses off the table then left.

I made my way to the spot where the interviews would be held. When I walked inside I greeted the manager and he told where it will take place. I Thanked him for his help and letting me use half of his cafe and took out the files I had of most of the people. As I sat there I took my phone out and waited for the first person to come in and get this show on the road.

Dej POV

After my last class I had to hurry home and change because I had a job interview today. I must admit at first I was a little hesitant but I decided since I did need the money and do want to promote myself in my music I needed to find me a job that could do it all for me and this was the perfect opportunity to stop being lazy and work so I won't be sitting in the house all day. This just might be a start to a brand new me and life.
