Ring Ring
"Shit!"I yelled hitting the bed.
I was startled by the ringing of the alarm on my phone. I had to get up before I be late for my first day of school. I yawned then I got out of bed just to stretch. After I felt how relaxed my body was, I went into the bathroom to do my morning hygiene.
When I finished my shower and with my face, I had to find something fly to wear to school. I mean it's the first day so I have to look good. I decided to put on some all white joggers and a red tank top along with my jean vest to go over the top. I didn't care too much for the shoes so I just found my white loafers to blend in with the outfit. When I was finished with that, I fixed me a bowl of cereal. While I was eating my phone started vibrating and I knew exactly who it was.
Goodmorning Baby
Goodmorning to you too sexy
It was my girlfriend Serayah. We've been together for 3 years now and I've been in love with her ever since I met her. I texted her and told her that I'll come pick her up since we both got accepted into a School of the Arts in Los Angeles. When she told me okay, I quickly grabbed my keys and left home. After about 20 minutes I was at her house.
"What took you so long?"she asked.
"I'm sorry baby I had to stop for gas,"I said kissing her.
"No Deja not right now we gotta get to school before we be late,"she complained.
"I told you to stop calling me by my government name,"I said,"You don't know who's looking for me."
"Well if it ain't a record company searching for your talented ass then it doesn't matter,"she said making me smile.
"You the one with the voice,"I said.
"Well I ain't no Toni Braxton yet so we both have to get it how the world offers it to us,"she said.
After she said that I started to think back and think of how bless we are to even be going to school better yet a school where we can do what we love.
See I didn't have it like everyone else did growing up. I wasn't the richest person in my neighborhood. In fact I was the complete opposite and Serayah was worst than me. We grew up in the hood. I wasn't the prettiest nor smartest. My grades were terrible yet I still tried my best in everything I did. Most people got their motivation from sports or parental threats but mines were music. I always wanted to be the next MC Lyte or Lil Kim. I wanted to be BIG in life that's why I even applied to this school forcing my girlfriend too as well because she's just as talented as me and even though money is still kind of hard right now I promised her the world. I promised my family that I was going to be somebody. A Star and help bring in some money around here even if that means I have to get me a Job first.
"Baby what's wrong?"she asked.
"Nothing just thinking,"I said pulling up to the school.
"Well we're here,"she said.
"Yup,"I said parking.
After I parked I grabbed my baby hand and we walked to registration. When we registered, they told us where we could go for our schedule.
"Oh baby we go to our first class together,"she said.
"That's good,"I said smiling at her.
We walked to our first class and sat in our seats right next to each other. Then the teacher came in. She was average height light skin with long hair medium sized breasts wide hips and a very nice smile. She was attractive.
"Okay Good morning class my name is Ms. London,"She spoke with the softest voice,"And I will be your creative writing coach."
"Good morning,"everyone said in unison.
"Okay nice group we have here so Welcome now first I need everyone to introduce themselves starting with you,"she said pointing to a lanky little Caucasian boy.
"The name is Johnny Boy,"he said as everyone laughed.
"Okay Johnny Boy next,"she said.
Everyone kept introducing themselves and then it was our turn.
"You with the curly hair,"Ms. London said pointing at Serayah.
"Um hello everyone my name is Serayah,"she said shyly.
"Okay nice to meet you Ms. Serayah,"she said,"I love the name."
"Thank you Ms. London,"Serayah responded.
"Well My name is Deja Trimble but my homies call me Dej Loaf,"I said proudly.
"Okay Ms. Dej Loaf I like the confidence you have,"Ms. London said.
"Well you know,"I responded as I sat down.
"Okay well that's our time so I'll see you guys tomorrow,"she said waving us goodbye.
After the first class I knew I was going to like this school.

"Really Zo Damn,"I yelled,"Towandaaaa!"
"What is it Toni?"she said.
"It's this damn boy you hired as my assistant,"I said.
"Who Zo?"she asked.
"Who else?"I said.
"Well what did he do?"she asked.
"He almost burned my damn house down trying to make tea,"I said with an attitude.
"What?"she asked confused.
"You see this?"I asked.
"Yea,"she answered.
"This is 3000 percent plastic,"I said.
"And?"she asked.
"When was the last time you put a plastic ass pot on the stove?"I asked.
"Ohh,"she said bursting out into laughter.
"It's not funny Towanda I need a new assistant I can't take Zo anymore,"I said,"He's wrecking my nerves."
"Okay Toni then we'll find you a new assistant,"she said.
"Thank you,"I said.
"Hey Toni come here for a second,"My soon to be ex husband Keri yelled.
"What do you want?"I asked.
"I want you to take me off these papers,"he said.
"No Keri,"I said realizing what papers he was talking about.
"Look I take good care of my boys we not even officially divorced yet and you wanna put me on some damn child support really?"he asked.
"Yes really Keri,"I said walking away from him,"If you really care for the boys like you say then it shouldn't matter."
"But we're sharing custody,"he said.
"Like the song says Keri,"I started,"Just be a man about it."
"Really Toni,"he said.
"Goodbye,"I said.
"Fuck this Toni,"he said walking out throwing the papers and slamming the door in my face.
"UGHHHH,"I yelled.
I hate the fact that me and my husband of 13 years are getting divorced, but it was needed. Just like Zo he was getting on my nerves as well. I still love him and we're still good friends but I'm more so mad that he's actually moving on. See he has this new girlfriend that I can't stand and that's probably why I'm being so dirty. He didn't even acknowledge the fact that I still wanted him claiming that I didn't start caring about him until he started dating. Bullshit right? Anyway I have better things in life to worry about and one is finding me a new assistant.
