I can't believe I am saying this, but I miss Tech being little. Do all parents feel this way? I'll have to ask N. Tropy sometime.

Tech was so innocent when she was a child. I mean, she does still have a soft side, but not as much. Just the other day, I overheard her and Natalie speaking of the possibility of Tech eventually becoming married. I know this sounds wrong of me, but I am dreading that day. I am not entirely certain why that is. Perhaps I am just worried that I will lose my daughter and she won't speak to me again.

I do not wish to continue thinking about the future, or at least that part of it. I know you also shouldn't dwell on the past, but the memories still haunt me. Memories of Tech nearly perishing, memories of N. Tropy's betrayal, memories of Natalie being possessed. All of those things still bother me, though I have yet to tell anyone.

Natalie was the reason Tech almost died, as I have stated before. The two were involved in a car accident, and it wasn't until hours later that we discovered that Natalie had crashed her vehicle on purpose. Doing so nearly cost her her own life. I understand that she was jealous of Tech, but why harm a six-year-old because of it? That never quite made sense to me.

Enough of that. I'm trying not to concern myself with such things, but it's so difficult. How does N. Tropy do it? He doesn't seem worried about anything. I can tell deep down that he does feel concerned every now and then, but he just doesn't show it. Perhaps I could learn a thing or two from him.

Other than that wretched day, taking care of Tech has been swell. She is a respectful person, even to those who do not entirely deserve it. She obeys an order as soon as it is given to her. On top of that, she is rather helpful in the laboratory. Even N. Brio has been teaching her everything that he knows about brewing and mixing various potions.

Tech is also helpful when it comes to attempting to destroy Crash and his meddlesome friends. We almost won because of her. But alas, we still had to retreat.

But we won't give up. As long as we are alive, we will continue our efforts.
