Shivangi's POV~
What a refreshing morning. I never felt this much ease in my heart. He said that i should not expect anything from her but here he himself doing things which are beyond my expectations.I thank god daily that he sended him in my life.
When i was young i heard even my nani used to tell that me that it is important to have a partner in life.
"Jeevan mai ek saath ro hono ghano jaruri hai laadesar jeevan saralta u kat jaaya kare" Her exact words.
(A partner is very important. life becomes easy )
I always took it otherwise and thought I'm fine with myself but here he proving me wrong evertime.
When i read romance novel i always wondered how will i react when I'll face such situations but the logical part always scold me by saying this things happen only in fiction and here I'm living my arrange marriage trope.
Am i complaining? Nope
I'm loving it and him as well but i want to take things slowly a step at a time.
We reached udaipur in late evening.Everyone was so tired first we dropped kritika than mihir and then we left for rathore bhawan.
Even the boys were changing driving time to time In first mihir drived then he drived the rest of the time. Though ved was legal and know how to drive but they didn't want to risk it. Kritika also insist but he denied and mihir glared at her.
We entered with loads of bags in our hands. Everyone was sitting in the living area and there was a lady with everyone.
The atmosphere is thick i can feel it.I took my sarees pallu and cover my head.
He took bags from my hand, i smiled at him and gave them to our househelp."Maaaaaa" vedika shouted and ran towards them to hug.
Ved directly went towards his room.
"Areyy lo agye mere bacche" Kakima said to the other lady with a beautiful smile.
I also went near everyone and touched there feet.It is very rare that data hukum sits in living area. I've only seen him sitting here two or three times because he is getting very old and its hard for him to walk alot. so he usually spend his days in his room only.
I touched his feet
"Data hukum dhok araj karu" i said
(Asking for the blessings data hukum)
(It is usually how you greet elder in rajputi culture in rajasthan)
"khush raho khush raho" he said with a breathy laugh.
(Stay happy)
It hurts seeing your favourite persons getting old.
When i went near the other lady i touched her feet.
"Jeeti reh bindani dhudho nahao puto phalo"
(Usually older one give such blessings to new brides and any married women in general as in (to a woman) may God bless you with progeny and health to rear it)
She said with a smile but i blushed after hearing her blessings i saw him standing a bit far from everyone his hands in his pockets and smirking.
Stupid man.
Stupid smirk.
Suddenly my gaze meet her. Though she was smiling but sometimes is off as if she was trying to find something in my eyes but i looked down first.
Her vibe was kindda off. Maybe I'm tierd and thinking alot.
"Why are you standing there come here?" Maa called him.
