Veteran was in the cafeteria of Myra HQ eating a sandwich.
Veteran said "Mmm. This is a great sandwich."
He heard the vending machine turn on and saw Y/n next to it getting a power raid and he sat in the seat across from Veteran.
Veteran said "Oh, hey Y/n."
Y/n greeted "Hey."
Veteran continued munching down on his sandwich while Y/n took a sip of his power raid.
Veteran asked "So, how's it going with getting a girlfriend?"
Y/n replied "Honestly. Still pretty bad."
Veteran said "Sorry to hear that."
Y/n said "Gnome suggested something I can try."
Veteran asked "What is it?"
Y/n said "I don't feel like telling, because I'm not even sure if it's gonna work."
Veteran said "I can respect that."
He finished his sandwich and got up.
Veteran said "That sandwich was good, but now I got to get my task done."
Y/n asked "Wait, You haven't even done a single task yet?!"
Veteran replied "Yep, now see you later."
He walked off.
Y/n shouted "Hey! Wait!"
He ran after Veteran.

Y/n said "So, this is that Doki doki literature club game that Gnome suggested? Apparently this game will help me get a girlfriend."

Y/n asked "How did you know my name?"
Sayori said "C'mon dummy, don't go pretending you don't remember your old childhood friend, Sayori."
Y/n thought 'Gnome told me about her, she's apparently supposed to be my childhood friend. But I've never actually met her before in my life, maybe I should just play along.' "Oh yeah, sorry about that
