     The car ride back was quiet but the tension was there. The tension wasn't a bad tension, it was a good one. I didn't want the car ride to end because then that kiss would mean nothing once it's over. McDonald's. OMG A MCDONALDS!? The munchies are kicking in, I can't tell you how many edibles I had, plus the brownie and the joint to top it off let alone the alcohol intake I may have consumed.
"KADE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEE"

" please what??"

"Ev I don't know what your fucking acting like a lunatic about,"

     Bouncing in the passenger seat frantically pointing at the clearly open McDonald's, "Cmon please I'm so hungry you're gonna make me starveee." Im about in tears when I see Kade pass McDonald's. Crossing my arms, I slump in my seat as we pass the building with the double golden arches.

"Evelynn are you seriously pouting over McDonald's?" Kade looks me in the eyes with disbelief but a smiles stretches his face and he makes a u - turn to the fast food joint. I stop pouting and flash him my k9s before I wrap my arms around him planting a kiss on his cheek.

"Thank you thank you thank youuu"

     Kade can't even park fully before I'm unbuckling and jumping out of the car. He whispers a quick "what the fuck" as he laughs it off and finally catches up with me at the door. He watches me just stand at the door, I cross my arms giving him a glare, he realizes that I'm not opening the door for myself and he's going to have to.

"What do you want?" Kade asks, I look at all the choices but it's all blurry. "Wanna shareee, you'll save your money, and I'll be happy. Honestly it's a win win in my opinion." I replied.

     Kade thinks about it, "that doesn't really answer my question tho, what do you want." Everything sounds good as he's listing off all of the options, if I could pick everything I would. "Hmm. I want a large sweet tea or dr. Pepper... well or sprite, honestly they have really good hi-c too. I dunno you can pick I'm a little too indecisive right now. I realllyyy want a cheeseburger and fries but I also want chicken nuggets. With sweet and sour sauce. I like also really want a Oreo or m&m mcflurry. Hmmm yum."

     "I might as well buy you the whole fucking store." I step on his foot on purpose and he pushes my arm. "Whoops, guess you should watch where you leave your feet." I grin. As I'm picking on him the worker comes to the counter to place our order.

     "Hi! Welcome to McDonald's how may I help you today?" She's smiling but I take it the wrong way obviously, "stop flirting with my boyfriend, he doesn't want you." I glare at her hard and point my two fingers from my eyes to her and Kade pulls me and sits me down at a booth behind the kiosks. He's acting like I'm a toddler or something who does he think he is.
They make small talk and she doesn't really look offended but when she looks past Kade and back at me again her smile fades and she looks scared. Pussy. Get your own man. Kade looks back at me to make sure I'm behaving. It feels he's taking forever and my eyes get heavy. I lay down spread out across the booth and lay my head on my arm. I see a spider run across the floor and I start laughing hysterically when Kade accidentally steps on it. "What the fuck are you laughing at." He doesn't need to know what I find so funny. He hands me a large sweet tea and the.. a... where's my food. OMG! A HAPPY MEAL!! I see he expects us to share as he only got enough for one person. Oh well. I shrug to myself and he probably thinks I'm crazy but I carry on about my business. I pull apart the cheeseburger in half and give half to Kade, when he rejects my offer I get upset, "what are you in love with her, do you want to fuck her or something? It's a burger if she's jealous over that, then I don't know what to tell y-" Kade cuts me off when he grabs my face and kisses me, I kiss him back grabbing his hair and pulling it just barely. He fights his way through my lips and challenges my tongue for dominance. Once I give up the fight he pulls back. Well that's one way to shut me up. He takes the burger and eats it I'm too stunned and I forget what I was doing before I look down and realize I have a whole buffet infront of me. I go for the McFlurry and im happy to see two straws. I tell him to try it with me and as I'm reaching across the table to share with him we begin a staring contest I didn't even know we were playing and I pull back once I get a brain freeze. "Owww" i grip my forehead so hard there's probably a red mark as Kade just sits there smirking at me. I'm so happy when Kade pulls out the toy, waving it infront of me. "YOU BOUGHT ME A TOY!!" Drunk Evelynn only cares about the toy at this point.

     We finally pull into the driveway and I stumble over my feet and Kade has to practically carry me to the front door. He unlocks the door carefully and slowly trying to avoid too much noise. Oh shit. I have to sober up now or atleast act like it.
     There infront of my two own eyes our parents sitting on the couch just looking at us. How long have they been sitting here. "Where the hell have you guys been?" Oh shit. I look back up at Kade with my eyes shooting out of my head. Kade is obviously a fast thinker and he sees the half full sweet tea from Mickey D's.
     "She wanted McDonald's and nobody was up besides me so I offered to take her." He shrugs nonchalantly and I smile nodding my head. Gotta act innocent. Which is far from what I've been tonight. "Yes and it was superr good. I really appreciate it. My stomach was begging me for food and I really wanted a McFlurry and Kade was nice enough to take me. It was inconvenient for him in the middle of the night but he was nice enough to take me."

     My mom gives me a side eye as she read right through my lies. She taps my dad on the shoulder and they start heading off to their room. "Just make good choices and go the bed. It's 1 in the morning."
    Shit that was close.
