I'm gonna kill him. I'm just trying to listen to my music, I'm minding my business just trying to look out the window and this bitch won't stop putting his shit on me. "For fucksake Josh we aren't even 30 minutes in the drive quit putting shit on me." Mom whips her head around the seat giving us the mom eyes, "Language! And quit fighting before we turn around and go home. Josh leave your sister alone."

     Glaring at eachother he gives up the staring contests and I mouth, pussy which he mouths back bitch.

      I don't know how much time passes but it's darker now and my dad's waking me up for a gas station stop. "Ev are you going in or not?" My dad's growing impatient as he's waiting for me to get my shoes back on. "Hang onnn."
The shoes finally stop fighting against me and I jump out of the car. I have to pee so bad it hurts to walk. Some gentlemen holds the door for me as I thank him I hurry to the bathroom. Thank gosh there's an open stall or this gas station would have gotten a new pool for free. "Are you fucking shitting me right now. I forgot my phone and a tampon." What the fuck do I do. I hear someone enter and I build all the courage in me to ask, "Ma'am? Do you by chance have a pad or tampon?" I wait a couple of awkward seconds before she answers, "Of course!" She hands it to me over the stall, "Your a life saver thank you so much."

Drying my hands my mom yells for me to come pick some snacks and a drink. Snacks? Thank gosh. I rub my stomach as it growls at me. I walk over to where I see the rest of my family picking out something to eat, "What you getting Ev?" My eyes scan over all the options and it always overwhelms me. "I dunno what are you getting Joshy?"

"Purple Doritos, starburst, and a coke."

Purple Doritos, the best. He knows he's gonna end up sharing with me either way. "Good choices, I guess I can never go wrong with some takis." I grab a bag of takis and nerd clusters and make my way to the fountain drinks. I look at all of the options just for fun even tho I know what I'm getting anyways. I grab the biggest styrofoam cup they offer and fill it with ice lightly so there's more room for my drink. As I'm poring my favorite, Code Red Mtn Dew, I feel some creep grab me from behind. "Uhm hello? Get off me." The stranger squeezes my sides, "Your eye catching you know that? Especially with what you're wearing right now." I try pushing him off me and look at my outfit, I'm wearing leggings and a Colorado t-shirt and my hair is thrown in a messy bun. Not flattering at all. I give him a disgusted look as he try's taking my hand when I pull away. Fucking crackheads. Big bad brother comes to save the day and he pushes him away from me grabbing him by the shirt. "Get the fuck out low life and don't come near her or any girl again." Cracky, that's his new name, walks off and out of the store. Idk but I grab my brother and give him the biggest hug.

     "Is this all for you guys?" I'm sitting against the gas station counter staring off into space chewing on my nails. "Yes ma'am"
I tell my dad I'm going to wait in the car. I'm still creeped by the man and I basically sprint to the car and lock myself in it and pull out my phone to realize I forgot to text Stace back and she was supposed to call me.

     My family finally come back out to the car.

Me - gtg rly quick.

      Dad pumps the gas while everyone is digging in the gas station bag looking for their treats. "Ev, I got you something." Joshy hands me a KitKat. My favorite chocolate bar. My hormones dig me apart and I start bawling. I throw my arms over him and hug him to death. "Thank you thank you thank youuu" I sit back in my seat giving him his space back to breathe. "You're welcome but it's just a KitKat, I wasn't expecting a cry in return but I guess that's okay." I open my KitKat and offer him half hoping he denies it, when he shakes his head no, I do a happy dance inside my head.

     My KitKats gone, my nerd clusters are half empty, my takis are gone, and my code red is almost gone. How am I still hungry. I look at my brother to see him still happily munching on his food. He looks at me and knows exactly what I'm wanting and he hands me the bag of Doritos to finish. "Thank you" doesn't take me long to finish his chips. I just want to see Kade tbh.
