Hiden for now

When I was born I didn't expect to run most my life.

Again the middle of no where. "You saved our lives again!" Carrigan screamed. "Just because we're in the middle of no where doesn't mean they won't come looking for us." I told her. "We need to look for shelter." Mitchell said looking at me. They all turned to look at me. "What? I'm not no leader." I said truthfully. "No but your a hero." Mitchell said leaning in for a kiss and that's what he got. "Can I be the first to barf?" Carrigan asked. I gave her a evil glare. "Carrie and I will go look for food and water. You guys stay here." Mitchell ordered. We started to walk away when he kissed me again. "Thanks?" I questioned. He smiled. "You are at least my hero." He told me. "At least I am a hero." I said with a smile. "So does this mean we're dating?" He asked. I have been avoiding that question for a long time now but I think it was time to decide. "I guess." I shrugged. He kissed me again and I pulled back. "We didn't leave them just to kiss." I said spotting a old grocery store. "Food!" He screamed. I laughed. He was the best boyfriend ever!

I checked the store to see if any of Chases army were here but I saw nothing but food and drinks. "Jackpot!" Mitchell yelled starting to eat a box of cookies. I shook my head and laughed again. I saw a empty shopping cart in the corner. I pulled in out of the corner and just started to throw food and drinks in it. "You are just going to get whatever aren't you?" Mitchell asked throwing cookies in the cart. "Pretty much." I said with a small shrug. The cart was full when I heard a noise coming from outside. "Take cover." I whispered/yelled to Mitchell. He grabbed my arm and did nothing. "I said-" "I heard you. We're invisible." He said. He has to be kidding. "How am I invisible too?" I asked. "The powers transfer over to you to make you invisible. I can only make someone invisible by touching them." He told me. "Carrie?" Taylor's voice asked. I made sure it was Taylor this time. After Molly tricked me I wasn't going to fall for something like that again. "Here." I said letting go of Mitchell. "What's taking you so long?" She asked. "Someone ate cookies." I accused Mitchell. "Here lets get back before something bad happens." Mitchell said grabbing the shopping cart. "He's right." I agreed.

We got back right before dark. I passed everyone water and I let them pick what they wanted to eat. "So who's taking first watch?" I asked breaking the silence. We set up a small campfire by a big building. "I will since I can see in the dark." Carrigan said sitting far away from the fire. "So light is you weakness?" I asked quietly just in case. "Yep. I'm like a vampire but I don't turn to dust I just become blind for a few hours." She told us. I nodded. It was only a few minutes later till Morgan started to sing. Her voice was soft and gentle. After a few words Carrigan,Taylor, and Mitchell started to sing. I smiled and joined in. It was like they were my family. My real family. After the song finished we ended up laughing. It was good times to bad it had to end with sleep. Mitchell was asleep next to the fire and us girls were asleep on the other side. It took me awhile but I finally fell asleep.
