Michael Woods

Her absence weighed on my soul as if it meant to drag it down to the darkest depths of me, I couldn't fathom a single good thing without her, my light had been blown out, everything was dark without her. I always regretted it from the moment it happened, but I wasn't given a chance, it was the best for her. I just need to explain that to her...

I had planned it out, simple, under assumption she somewhere longed to see me as I longed to see her. I find her during the lunch periods, I say hello, she greets me enthusiastically, because, of course, she missed me. But.... She doesn't.. do that.. I don't understand why. I never hurt her. She has no reason to be afraid of me. She's a smart girl, my smart Lainey, she'll come to her senses, soon.

If I knew she was going to react the way she did.. so quickly.. she didn't even think about it.. My Lainey left me, she doesn't care about what we had.. She doesn't care about me.. She doesn't care. I would do anything for her. She's my Lainey, my everything. My entire life is devoted to her, whether she can see that or not. My Lainey, what happened that day was a mistake, let me tell you, let me love you again... let me find you, let me tell you...

Did I find you, My Lainey..? Was that your voice, coming from the window? I can tell you everything, now that I know where you are. Let me see you, let's talk like we used to, Lainey..

I tried to hear your voice better, but I bumped into the window.. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you, my Lainey, I just wanted to get closer to you. I had to leave, but I'll catch you next time.
