•Harry's POV
Leah's face was awe stricken entering the bus. Her eyes scanned over the red velvet lining the walls. She skimmed her hand over the light wood table.
"Wow." Slipped from her mouth and I chuckled at her.
"This is, like, nicer than my house." We all had a good laugh then I showed Leah to her bunk, right above mine.
"So I get to wake up your lovely face in the mornings." I spoke. Her smile faded. Did I do something wrong?
"What is it?"
"Nothing, it's nothing." I figured it would be best to drop it, she's had a busy day already. She followed me into the main hang out part of the bus, where all the boys were sitting. I had her sit next to Niall and she screeched when he tried to put his arm around her. When I got her calmed down, I finally spoke.
"So, I think we're going to go back to Leah's house for her to pack her things and then we'll keep driving overnight then we stop at a hotel in the morning to start getting ready for our last concert in Georgia. Then we're headed to Florida, I think." Leah inched away from Niall slowly and by the time I finished talking, she was at my side.
"You okay?" I whispered in her ear and pulled her close. She seemed a bit frightened.
"U-um, yeah. F-fine." I gave her another confused look.
"I just... I don't want to... I don't know... They make me nervous..." She rubbed her arm feverishly and I wasn't sure what to do. How do you fix someone so broken?
"Well, they're good lads. I promise you that they would never hurt you." Her eyes just stayed on the floor, as if she couldn't believe me. I didn't blame her, not after what she's been through.
We arrived at her former home in a small amount of time. Leah unlocked the front door with her key and allowed me to step in. She refused to look around, staring at the carpet the whole time.
"So, um, this is my room." She pushed the hole-ridden door open and shoved past it. Her room was neat, but dark. There were posters all over the black walls, most of them consisting of bands I'd never listened to. There was a bed of course, but that was it, other than her closet.
"Harry, will you reach that for me?" She was standing in front of her closet on her tiptoes, stretching for a suitcase on a shelf.
"Yeah, got it shorty." I snorted at my own joke. She rolled her eyes and giggled a bit while I pulled down her suitcase.
"Thanks giant." She mumbled and I couldn't help but burst out laughing. She quickly stuffed her suitcase while I lingered in various rooms of her house. The kitchen was spotless, but the living room was a broken mess. The couch was off centered and the coffee table was upside down. The tv had a crack in it and the carpet was muddy.
"Harry, what are you looking at?" I turned to see Leah in the doorway leading to her room.
"What happened here? The rest of the house is so clean, so what's up with this room?" Her face dropped a bit. She slumped down onto the couch and held her face in her hands. When I tried to rub her back, she flinched.
"He... He tried to...." My heart filled with rage.
"Did he touch you?!" She looked up at me briefly before beginning to ball. I pulled her to me.
"Come on, lets get out of here. Hand me your key." She followed my instructions and I put the key in my pocket.
"What about my stuff?" Leah whined as I picked her up bridal styles.
"I'll get it. I'm putting you in your bunk first because you need rest." She didn't hesitate to nuzzle herself into my torso.
•Leah's POV
Harry set me into the top bunk easily, whereas I would have had to climb.
"I'll be right back babe. Okay?" I just simply shook my head, speechless and terrified.
These boys honestly scare me. They all seem too happy about me being here and I feel like I shouldn't be as comfortable as I am. I'm holding onto Harry so much just so none of the others will hurt me. I know they'll get tired of me. They'll get tired of my flinching and crying and neediness. But I'm terrified that they'll hurt me like he did.
Harry kissed my forehead and pulled the bunk curtain across the whole way. I was alone, in a safe haven. I heard the boys laugh and Harry said he'd be back, explaining what he was doing. My eyes started closing and comfort washed over my body.
"She's so beautiful." I froze. Who was that? Liam maybe? Or was that Zayn?
"How could someone ever even think of hurting her?" Definitely Niall.
"I don't know, but she's just so perfect!" Liam, I'm pretty sure. Then I felt a hand lay gently on my cheek. It wasn't like being hit, but it was caring and loving. Either way, I shot myself backwards. My back was cold against the wood and my eyes were nearly bulging out of my head.
"Oh! We're so sorry, love! Didn't mean to wake you." Louis said, stepping forward slightly. I pressed back as far as I could, making it clear that I wasn't comfortable anymore.
"Boys! Leave her alone!" Harry pushed through the four person crowd.
"She's scared, stop boys. Hey, are you okay?" His nose wrinkled and I settled back to my original place. His dimply smile shown brightly and I couldn't help but become sleepy again.
"Yeah, fine. Just frightened me a bit." I stared down at the half-open curtain.
"Alright, I'll get these idiots to leave you alone. Goodnight sweetheart." I let Harry pull the covers back over me and shut the curtain. As soon as my head hit the pillow again, I was out like a light.
