•Harry's POV
The ride to the stadium was short, only ten minutes. We sat in the now crowded van, Leah internally freaking out. There was a battle in her eyes, but her face was completely blank.
"Leah, everything will be okay. I promise." I placed my hand reassuringly on her knee and she looked up at me with those big green eyes.
"What if they don't like me Harry? What if they hate me?" Her eyes were honestly terrified and I just took the opportunity to pull her close.
"They'll love you babe, like I do." I whispered into her ear.
She didn't reply.
...
"Five minutes until Leah's out. Remember, just go out, introduce yourself, sing Stole My Heart and Oh My Goodness and Pearl, then say goodbye and run back through the right side. Got it?" One of the stage crew declared from the doorway. Leah politely shook her head.
Leah had set up her own line up, with the help of us. She was singing Stole My Heart from our first album, Oh My Goodness by Olly Murs, and Pearl by Katy Perry. She swears that they are her favorite songs, but I think she's lying. They're all good songs, don't get me wrong, it's just... I think she's singing them as a story. They all make sense, so I'm just assuming they work into HER story.
"Harrrrryyyy..." I heard Leah whining. I turned and went to hug her, but she ducked right under my arm. The boys started laughing from their places on the couch. Leah was pacing the room and running her fingers through her hair continuously.
"What if they don't like me? What if I mess up? What if I fall on stage? What if they laugh? What if-"
"You'll be fine, I told you that." I spoke up, half yelling. She turned to face me and I could see the little bit of fear wash from her face. Louis saw our uneasieness and jumped up from his place on the couch.
"Well how about you sing a little for us right now, just a little sneak preview!" He said cheerfully. The rest of the lads chimmed in with 'yeah, come on Leah!' or 'you can do this!' It was incredible how supportive they were being.
"Okay..." She mumbled. Louis pushed me onto the couch and sat on the arm of the chair. Leah fixed her hair nervously one last time before the boys all shushed eachother.
"You know 'cause all my life, I've been waiting for a guy like you to come around." Leah finished Stole My Heart.
"Leah!!!! That was brilliant!!!" Our small audience was shouting and smiling and cheering, all for her. Leah's cheeks turned a bright shade of red and for the first time, something other than sadness shown in her eyes.
Joy.
...
"I'm going to be standing right here if you absolutely have to run off stage, okay? ONLY if you have to, not just because you're scared." Her bright green eyes were glaring through mine.
"Okay, okay. Only if I absolutely have to, got it." She was shaking a bit as I gripped her hands.
"You'll be excellent, babe. No, brilliant and fantastic and lovely and perfect, you will." She smiled at me timidly. I kissed her forehead and Leah stared down at her feet.
