Vaani stepped into the beautiful mansion and looked around in awe.

She had seen such big mansions only in movies and tv shows. Never imagined she would see one in real life.

"Udhay. You are here. Is this your niece?" Eshitha asked, looking at the pretty girl with Udhay.

"Yes, Eshitha Madam. This is Vaani. My brother's daughter." Udhay said, wrapping an arm around his niece's shoulder.

Vaani folded hands in a greeting gesture and Eshitha smiled.

"You must be tired after the long journey. Take a rest." Eshitha said and left.

"Vaani. I am going to the main house. You sleep for some more time." Her chachi, Radha, said as she was about to step out of the outhouse.

Radha is a cook in the mansion.

"I will also help you, chachi. Just give me a moment to get changed." Vaani said.

"No no. You sleep. I will manage." Radha said with a soft smile.

"It's okay, chachi. I am not used to sleeping late in the morning. I am a morning bird. And I will be bored sitting here alone." Vaani said.

"Okay then. Come with me." Radha said and once Vaani got changed, they both left for the Malhotra mansion.

Once the breakfast was ready, the household staff took them to the dining table.

Vaani also helped them.

The members were coming to the dining room one by one.

Sarang as usual was tagging Parth alone. He is not ready to let Parth out of his sight anytime soon, as he is worried if Parth would do a disappearing stunt once again.

He let out a soft wolf whistle when he spotted Vaani.

"What?" Parth asked in confusion.

"What a gorgeous girl!" Sarang said looking at Vaani.

Parth followed his gaze and his eyes widened seeing Vaani.

Vaani spotted him at the same moment.

The bowl she was holding slipped from her hand and it broke creating a loud crashing sound.

"I am sorry. So sorry." Vaani mumbled, as her eyes filled up.

"It's okay, beta. Don't worry about it." Eshitha said with a smile, as she ordered a staff to clear the mess.

A couple of days passed, Parth tried to talk to Vaani and she avoided him.

"She looks absolutely divine when she does the pooja." Sarang commented, looking at Vaani doing pooja in front of the shiv parvati idol.

"Stop staring at her." Parth hissed at his brother, making him frown.

"What is your problem?" Sarang asked with a frown on his face. This is not the first time he was staring at or commenting on a beautiful girl. But Parth always rolls his eyes and ignores him. Never had he reacted before.

"Don't look at her. If I find you staring at her one more time, I will kill you." Parth said furiously and walked towards Vaani.

"Vaani. We need to talk. Enough of this hide and seek game." Parth demanded furiously.

"I have nothing to talk to you about, Malhotra Sahib." Vaani said and tried to walk past him.

He took hold of her arms and pulled her towards the pool side.
