"What?" Parth asked in shock hearing the sudden shriek from her.

"What were you going to do?" Vaani demanded furiously.

"Kiss you," Parth said, wondering why she is asking stupid questions.

"How dare you?" Vaani asked as she pushed him away.

"What? What's wrong? We solved our issues, didn't we?" Parth asked in confusion.

Did he misunderstand that she forgave him?

"All these before marriage are not allowed, Parthji." Vaani said in a tone of disapproval.

"You gotta be kidding me!" Parth breathed out in disbelief.

"I am not." Vaani said.

"These things are common when two people are in a relationship, Vaani. It's not a big deal," Parth said, trying to explain things to her.

"Of course it is. It is a sin." Vaani said adamantly.

Parth took a deep sigh!

"Wait. You said it is common among people in relationships?" Vaani asked with a frown.

"Yes," Parth said hopefully. He so badly wanted to kiss her at the moment.

"And you told me you had a girlfriend. Does that mean you had-" Vaani trailed off, not able to even think about it.

Parth stared at Vaani in alarm.

"Vaani, I-" he trailed off seeing her eyes filling up with tears.

"Vaani, listen to me. It is all common nowadays. Please understand." Parth said helplessly.

Vaani shook her head, not listening to his words.

She was too caught up with the fact that her Parthji is not hers alone.

"Vaani. There will be no one after you, Vaani. I promise." Parth vowed softly.

"I will kill you if you even think about anyone else," Vaani said in a deadly voice.

Parth smiled.

"I love it that you are possessive about me," Parth said, and leaned down again to steal a kiss.

Vaani placed her palms over her lips, not letting him have his way.

Parth let out a defeated sigh.

"Okay fine. I will wait until our marriage. But remember, there will be no escape on our wedding night." Parth warned seductively.

Heat crept up her cheeks and she ran out of the room, clutching her fast beating heart.
