Maisie's pov
June 28thIt's officially been a week since Camdyn kidnapped me and put me in a hospital. I can't really remember what I'd looked like when I was out in here. I still don't know what I look like. Yes, I've gone to the bathroom and showered, but Camdyn put a blanket over the mirror so I wouldn't feel discouraged to eat whenever I felt that I needed to. I hate him. I was so close to my mom that I could almost taste it when I woke up. Lucille hasn't really left my side, besides when she wants to go piss off Trystan. Who I also hate. I think the two of them are getting pretty close. I know Lucille has a crush on him, he's really all she talks about, even when the boys are in the same vicinity. She's got no shame.. and honestly, if I looked like her, I wouldn't either. I'm surprised she doesn't have every man in sight drooling when she walks into the room. Though, she does have this one flaw. She won't let me sleep. Camdyn either. I want peace and quiet. And I can't get any.
"Do you think I'm more Taylor Swift coded or Justin Bieber coded?" I pause with my spoon in my mouth. Staring straight at the wall. I pull my spoon out of my mouth with a small groan. "What the hell does that even mean, Lucille?" She laughs at me. She fucking laughs at me like it's a joke. "I'm serious. You're always on your phone learning new slang and I'm stuck in the early 2000s." This makes her bust into a whole outburst of laughter. Throwing her head back and resting a hand on my leg. "Do I remind you of a Taylor Swift song or a Justin Bieber song? You're a Justin Bieber song. I totally see it." I frown as if she'd just insulted me. My eyes going wide and my jaw dropping in shock. "That was probably the most fucked up thing you could've just said to me. You're a Taylor Swift song. You know I don't like him." She gives me a wicked smile when she sees Camdyn walk through the door, a suit and tie hugging his body in the most intoxicating ways I've ever seen. If I didn't know him, I'd think he was an evil genius.
"You don't like who?" He pulls a wicked smile to his face, knowing exactly what he's doing. He steps slowly over to my bed, dropping to his knees when he gets to me. His chest is level with the top of the shitty mattress, his eyes almost level with mine. I stuff another bite of the rice and gravy into my mouth, feeling so grateful for my aunt bringing me some this morning. "You know, I've already got our wedding playlist made on my phone. So it better not be me." He chuckles so lowly that it sends vibrations through my whole body, making goosebumps show all over my arms. "I'd only marry a man that doesn't have Justin Bieber on his playlist. Sorry, girl." I send my eyes over to Lucille who's more lost in our conversation than she's ever been in one of our own. Her eyes find mine and instantly, she's scrunching her nose into a cute smile. One that reminds me why she's my actual soulmate, and not a man. Gross.
Camdyn is waiting for me to look at him, I can feel it. He's staring at me. Burning me down. So I stare at Lucille with wide eyes as if I'd just committed a crime. "Say it with your chest, girlfriend. But look me in the eye when you do." He says girlfriend in a mimicking voice, and changes his tone when he speaks the rest. I turn my head in his direction and put my face just close enough for him to touch my nose with his own. "I would never marry a man who has Justin Bieber in his playlist, girlfriend." I give him a fake smile and lean away, leaving him looking flushed and full of something that I'm sure he'd like to show me with Lucille out of the picture. "Wanna bet, babe? I can guarantee that by the time I have to leave, you won't want me to." It kind of punches me in the face that I forgot he wasn't staying. He's only temporary and that in itself already kind of puts a dent in my mood. I set my food on the side table next to him and try to get up, expecting him to move when I swing my legs over to the side. But no. When I swing my legs over, he remains in the same spot. His face ending up in my stomach and his hands catching my swinging legs by my thighs.
Now he stares up at me, his hands leaving flames on my entire body. "Where are you going?" His voice is different now. Low and sultry, licking his lips after he speaks. I open my mouth to speak and suddenly become speechless, learning that his hands could set me aflame and I wouldn't even care. He stares up at me through his lashes, his dirty blonde, almost brown, hair hangs over his eyebrows, the blue-green in his eyes standing out in the hospital lighting. Jesus please just end me now. If you don't, he will. He moves his thumbs along the skin on my inner thighs, an evil smirk pulling through his lips. Dimples create craters in his cheeks and it makes me take a shaky breath. "I need a shower. You're contaminated now." I speak slowly so any unwanted feelings stay out away, but that hardly works, his hands making me go almost blind. I don't feel uncomfortable. If anything, I like the way his hands feel. He feels good. "Well stand up then, princess. Don't let me stop you." Now he has a knowing smile on his face, making my stomach turn and my head to spin. I shake my head almost immediately, as if him taking his hands off of me would be a crime in itself. "Why not, princess? Go on." He presses his hands harder on my thighs and moves his thumb just a little further. My hands fly to his and stops him, feeling a little invaded now. He stops immediately, letting his hands rest where they were stopped. "You're insane." I grip onto his hands letting him know that he if he moves them anymore, I'll cut them off. "Only for you, princess." He flashes me another beautiful grin and leaves a kiss on both of my legs, just above my knees.
