First Expeditions!

We wouldn't stop jumping and yelling! Ever since we've been friends we told our parents we wanted to move to LA together. We never thought our parents would let us let alone pay for a house for us and buy us new cars to drive there in! We were leaving for dinner in a hour so we ran to my room to get ready. We didn't want to wear these uncomfortable clothes. I left my hair and makeup as is. I threw on a new cream crop top that said "Love Never Strays Far From Home". With my luck that wouldn't be true! Haha. I put on high waisted distressed shorts. I grabbed a red and black flannel and tied it around my waist. I put on more perfume and touched up my makeup. I put on my all black vans and I was ready. I put my phone and wallet in my coach purse I got for my birthday. Dani is wearing a blue tank top with light wash shorts and a white oversized cardigan. She wore her blue vans to go along. She grabbed my black Kate Spade bag. We walked out and got in the car. We drove to Melt a place with specialty Grilled Cheese. I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon and pepperoni on it with hot sauce on the side. Cameron and his family were running late. When they arrived my mom directed to sit with Dani and I. We were at a separate table and we were waiting on Colin. He was gonna be our escape. He was gonna come and pick us up to take us to the end of the year party some girl is throwing that Cameron wasn't invited to. We weren't actually gonna go. We decided to see a movie instead. Cameron came and sat down. I now remembered that when I move I won't see him therefore we will never be friends let alone date. He said hi and I smiled then luckily the appetizers came. They took Cameron's order and brought us refills. Dani texted me.

To Grace* I have to pee I'll hold it though so you don't have to be alone but if I pee myself in this restaurant I'm saying it was you!*

She is that great friend that would rather have something bad and embarrassing happen to them then let you be uncomfortable in these types of situations.

To Dani * thanks babe!💕 if it gets too bad just go and make it quick imma time you and if you take longer than 1 minute your dead and you best not leave that bathroom evaa!* she laughed out loud. Luckily Cameron didn't notice he was too busy looking at the waitress and staring at her. When she walked away I elbowed him.

"Oww! What was that about?!" He asked

"You have a girlfriend yet you were hitting in that girl! I'm just tryna stand up for my gender!" I said. Then I looked at Dani trying to hold in her laughter. We both knew it wouldn't last and burst out into random laughter. Cameron started laughing too. We stopped when he joined cause yeah that's not cool. Our food came and we ate.

"I'm actually free to hit on whoever I'm a free man!" He smirked biting his lip.

"Oh so she finally dumped you so you could go be with all the trash you came from!" I asked.
Dani laughed and I smirked. He chuckled. "Ok I had that coming!" He confessed. We ate more. Colin came and Dani and I stood up. Cam gave us a weird look. My parents asked what we were doing and we told her about the party. "Why don't you invite Cameron?" She asked.
"It was invite only and you aren't allowed to bring anyone." I explained. It wasn't a lie. She nodded. "Ok." With that we left. We went straight to the movies and got tickets for Paper Towns! We went in the theater and sat in the very back. I posted a pic in Instagram and snapchat. I got a text.

To Grace * why are you at the movies I thought you were going to the party?*

It was my mother.

To Mom * we did it was lame though and a lot of mean people were there so we left.*

To Grace * ok well after the movie come pick up Cameron or better yet he can drive himself the movie doesn't start til 8 so he will be there by then!*

"Dani!" I whispered. "What?" She asked
"My mom is having Cameron come join us! She saw my insta pic!" I said. I groaned and so did she. A few minutes later Cameron walked in with popcorn and candy galore. "Want some?" He asked us. I nodded. Hey I mean if he has to be here the least I can do is take his food. He sat down next to me. I got up and went to ' go to the bathroom'. Instead I just got up walked down the hall and then back. I sat down on the other side of Dani now. She knew what I was doing and had grabbed my stuff and moved it. Best friend! I smiled at her and she nodded. "No prob!" She whispered. We watched the movie. It was really good so far. Colin got up to got to the bathroom so the space between me and cam were now empty. He scooted over when dani wasn't looking. "Why are you avoiding me?" He whispered. Dani and I both shushed but she didn't pay attention to what he said obviously or else she would have said a snide comment in return. I got a text.
