Peter and Tony were messing around in the lab when Peter got a notification from Karen. Peter took a look at it and immediately pressed the button on his watch that put his spider suit on as he jumped out the window. Tony just stared at the window in confusion and concern before he tapped his Arc Reactor, his Ironman suit getting put on before he followed Peter through the same window.

When Tony caught up to Peter, because Peter was going faster than he's ever seen him, he was lifting up an injured teenager in a black and red spider suit with a look that Tony knows all too well. Peter was trying to stay calm for this teenager like Tony himself has for Peter many times before. "Peter, who's this?" Peter's head snapped towards him, looking tense but trying to be calm. "Tony, no time to explain, I need your help. Can you carry him back to the Tower, I can't because I would jostle him too much from swinging." Tony nods and tries to gently take the teenager from Peter's arms, which is hard because neither wants to let go of the other. "Hey, Miles, I promise that I will be there when you land with Tony. I don't want to leave you for a bit but I have to, okay?" The teenager, Miles, nods while hugging Peter tighter before letting Tony take him. As soon as Miles is secure in Tony's arms, Peter rushes towards the Tower, wanting to keep his promise to Miles.

As soon as Tony lands, Peter gently takes Miles from Tony's arms and quickly runs towards the Medbay. Tony tries to catch up but Peter is using a lot of his super speed. While Tony and Peter are waiting for Cho to finish treating Miles injuries, Peter is pacing back and forth while mumbling to himself underneath his breath. "Peter, who is this kid?" "A spider person like me, I started training him a while ago but I told him to stick with the small things like stupid robbers and daily things like helping old people cross the street until I said he was ready. He didn't listen and look what happened." "Why does that remind me of someone?" Tony says with a teasing smirk. Peter pays him no heed and continues pacing while mumbling. Peter's head snaps up and he stands in front of the double door right before they open and Cho is there. "You can see him now." Peter rushes towards Miles room, listening for his heartbeat and following the sound. "Wish I had powers like that when Peter gets hurt." Tony says to Cho calmly as they follow after him.

When they get there, they see Peter holding onto a crying Miles, looking relieved. "Bambino, I told you that I was going to be here for you." Peter whispers against the top of Miles head. "I know but I was still scared, Mr. Parker." Miles says in-between sobs and sniffles as he holds onto Peter tighter and Peter replicates the action. When Miles calms down, Peter gently hooks his finger under Miles chin to make him look up at him. "I have someone I want you to meet, you hear the heartbeat that sounds strong but is skipping a beat at the moment?" Miles nods, still looking up at Peter, while Tony is a little shocked because he knows that they are talking about him. "That's Tony Stark, remember all the times I would talk about him?" "Yeah, I do. He's also famous." Miles says with awe. Tony starts to step closer and both Spiders look towards him, one with a fond smirk and the other with an excited and hero worship look. "Tony, meet Miles Morales. Kid, meet Tony Stark." Tony smiles and waves at Miles, thinking of when it was, and sometimes still is, Him and Peter in the Medbay, holding onto each other when one of them was hurt. Tony smiles as he thinks about how Peter has basically adopted his own spider child just like he, himself did.
