Everyone has been partying for a while, except Miles. He is off to the side in the shadows watching his sister and friends all dancing and being happy. He goes to walk away but he hears a voice.
????: and where do you think you are going?
He turns and sees Evie. He cracks a small smile. She gestures for him to join her. They both sit on top of a bench over looking everything.
Evie: like the jacket?
Miles: i love it E, thank you. before anything else is said, i just want to apologise for pushing you away after the fight between me and Mal.
Evie: it's ok Miles, i understand why you did
She lightly grabs his right hand. He looks at it and smiles.
Evie: i love you Miles, i didn't get the chance to tell you it but i really do love you.
Miles: i love you too Evie, would you perhaps like to give us another shot?
Evie: what about Mal? won't she break us up again?
Miles: i spoke to her before the corination, she won't break us up this time
Evie: in that case, i'd love to
The pair smile then kiss. It is a beautiful moment for the pair. They pull apart. Evie hugs Miles and her eyes water.
Evie: i missed you
Miles: i missed you too
He kisses her head. She pulls away and wipes her eyes. Pain and Panic appear in front of the pair. Evie gets scared at the sudden apperance. She clings onto Miles arm. Miles rubs her head.
Miles: it's ok babe, they aren't going to hurt you.
She slowly looks at them.
Miles: Pain, Panic, this is my girlfriend Evie. E, these are Pain and Panic. they are my assistance of sorts.
Pain: hi
Panic: hello
Evie: hi, are they the same Pain and Panic that helped Hades?
Miles: yes, but they aren't like that anymore.
Miles smiles.
Panic: it's true, we have someone who treats us as equals for a boss
Pain: all we wanted from Hades but we were treated like his slaves, Miles is far better.
Miles: oh did you manage to get that thing for me?
Panic: we did, it is in your room
Miles: thanks you 2. you can have the week off to spend time with your families.
Panic: thank you
Pain: well our boys are here, so we're gonna stuck around here.
Evie has a confused look on her face.
Evie: you have boys that go here?
Pain: yes, our sons are students here
Miles: i never knew this, i'd love to meet them
Pain: we'll get them
The pair walk away. Evie leans her head on Miles' shoulder. They inter lock their hands. Miles places a soft kiss on the back of Evie's hand.
Evie: babe?
Miles: yes?
Evie: what's it like in the underworld? is it how everyone says it is?
