The Vampire Dies in No Time

Chapter 7: “This doll’s a little too detailed”

(-Authors Note: I had been starting this book using Funimation cause that's what I had, I didn't have Crunchyroll yet. And I’d watch the Dubs and have the subtitles to see how they spelled a handful of names, and that's how I’d get my writing sources.
But now I have Crunchyroll, for some reason they do not have subtitles for English dubbed on a handful of shows because they don’t see the point.
So for this chapter onward I would have to go back and forth between Dubbed and Subbed with subtitles to write out the story.-)

(-Authors Note: Also I apologize for not updating for a while, I honestly forgot about this and when I saw you guys comments for an update and how many have read it, I sat down and started to write again. Again, I apologize, hope you guys like the chapter-)

You were in the Hunters Guild. You honestly just went there because you had finished  going to your college progress meeting about how on track you were to graduate, and you decided to visit the Guild just to have some silence and light conversation before you went home.

But you didn’t expect to see all the Vampire Hunters in the area, including Ronaldo to be there at the bar waiting. You thought something had happened, and when you sat down, Hanaichi and Handa had shortly entered with a poster for a wanted vampire.

“Tsujigiri Nagiri has been spotted recently in this town. A vampire with a danger level higher than A, and he had been put on the most wanted list.”

Your eyes widened in surprise at that note. Higher than an A? Comparing on a scale from Draluc to the other vampires you had encountered, this was a big deal. “We request the cooperation of the Hunters Guild. Be forewarned, Tsujigiri is an extremely dangerous vampire.” Hanaichi continued, lowering the poster.

“He hardens his own blood and can use it as a blade. Which he has used to cut open his victims, and draws out their blood.”

You grimace. You know you needed to know what the vampire is capable of regarding if you ever came across him, but you didn't want to imagine it. And you did.

“It’s a fearsome ability, but his immortality is even scarier. Using supernatural means,he took his soul, if you can even call it that, and separated it from his body, then hidden it. As long as that part isn't destroyed, Tsujigiri won’t budge. Even if he’s staked or exposed to sunlight. He’s immortal. Therefore, our objectives are to arrest him then locate and destroy his soul. I humbly ask you all to defeat Tsujigiri, and protect this town.”

You let this information sit and process in your head. An immortal vampire who has his soul in a different physical place, that you need to find and destroy after he’s arrested. You thought vampires were mostly immortal for the most part, continued to age unless exposed to sun or if it comes to worst, killed. You wonder how Draluc lived so long with your sure, centuries of hunters going after him.

You didn’t realize you had spaced out, you didn’t realize Ronaldo and a few other hunters had left the guild to try to find the dangerous one. You did focus again when you heard the front door bell chime and saw Draluc walking into the Guild with John and something in his hand. “Did Ronaldo get a job or something?” He asked no one in particular while sitting next to you.

You shrugged and raised a finger to pet John’s head who sat on Draluc’s shoulder. You helped John sit down on the bar counter as the Master’s daughter, Koyuki, asked him if he wanted something to drink. She’s sweet and you've hung out with her a couple times. She felt like a little sister to you.
