I turned my head to see Eren staring at me but then he looked to the left.
"What are you looking at?" I turned my head to see the others using their own ingredients. "Are you trying to scout out people's ingredients."
"No silly. I just saw someone putting hot sauce in their Mac." He said.
"Oh." I giggled and turned around.
It was just a couple of minutes later when we put our Mac in the stove.
It was finally read to go, and I was actually really hungry, ready to eat some Mac.
-
Our Mac was completed, and our teacher tried it and she enjoyed it, thankfully.
When we had some, it was quite heavenly.
"Mm! Fuck Levi, you sure do know how to cook." Eren said with a fat smile.
"Of course I do." I said calmly. "Mac is your second favorite side dish, yes?"
"Yup!" He smiled widely. "Do you know my first?" He asked, studying me for a moment.
"Uh.. pretty sure it's rice, no?"
"Correct!" He high-fived me.
I smiled a bit and continued to eat my Mac, enjoying it.
-
Heading to lunch was nice. Though we had Mac in the morning, and leftovers, which we gave to our friends, I still wanted the lunch I made for me, and Eren, which was left over sushi.
I made it myself of course.
Eren of course ate it up like usual, no complaints coming from him. "It was good as usual." He said under his relaxed huff.
I on the other hand, was eating it slowly like usual, enjoying the flavor.
We were sitting with all of our other friends, casually talking about absolutely nothing, same old same old, but still, it's always a good time.
"Levi!" Hanji squished in besides me, pushing me more into Eren. "Do you want this apple?"
I rolled my eyes. "Sure."
"I knew you would say sure, apples are just your favorite."
"Everyone knows that." Mikasa chimed in.
I rolled my eyes again. "Not sure why it's a big thing." I said, gesturing to me liking apples.
Eren smiled a bit at me and rubbed my shoulder, knowing I was getting annoyed easily.
"Because Hanji likes to point the obvious out." Erwin said, smiling to himself.
I smiled a bit. "Of course she does."
"Is this an insult or a compliment." Hanji gasped dramatically.
"A bit of both." Erwin and I both said.
-
"Hey are you sleeping over tonight or am I taking you home? Or are you walking." Eren asked calmly.
"Uh.. I think I have to ask my mom." I said towards him as we began to pack up our notebooks for the day.
"Call her before it's too late."
I nodded at him.
It was a Friday, so I usually sleep over at his house.
My mom goes out and parties or has her "flings" over. It's not often, but when she does, it's annoying.
I pulled my phone out and dialed my mom's number.
I held it at my ear and waited for awhile until she finally picked up.
"Yes?" She said, her voice sounding irritated.
"I'm sleeping over at Eren's tonight." I said calmly, holding onto my pencil in my free hand.
"Okay. Have fun then." She sighed.
"What's wrong?" I asked, actually concerned for her.
"Work problems. I have to take this newbie on a newbie route, if you know what I mean."
"So you have to show the newbie around?" I asked calmly, putting my pencil away.
"Yup. And you know how I hate doing this." She paused. "Well anyway, tell Carla and Grisha I said hello."
"Will do. Bye."
"Bye bye."
"She doesn't care." I said towards Eren once I hung up.
"Cool." Eren said, standing up. "Let's go to the door, we're leaving in a minute." He pulled me up with a small smile.
I nodded and followed behind him like a little dog.
