"Shut the fuck up! I haven't heard from you in weeks!" Kehlani yelled in the phone. "The phone works both ways bro what are you even talkin about?" Melo said with confusion.
"Man you know I tried to reach out to you, you are just fuckin dry! Don't start you know it's true."
"You just want to hang out with your fuckin NBA boyfriend Devin or even that rapper" Kehlani looked at her phone in confusion "Melo, you're the one to talk with your model girlfriends!"
Mia was listening to the whole conversation on the other side of the couch laughing. "Whatever then, we should plan a time to hangout I miss you a lot."
"Boy shut the fuck up!" Kehlani yelled and hung up.
"Oh my gosh I can't with you!" Mia said laughing. "He is just tooooo......... much" she replied shaking her head.
"Aye we still going out tonight?" Mia questioned. "Uh... Yea I'm a little nervous about not hearing anything back about the audition and the song so I think we both deserve a night out."
"And like.... I can't stop thinking about um... Jordan..." Kehlani said shyly and looked down at her nails. Ever since the game she can't stop thinking about him and every time she does, she wishes she actually got his number.
She feels like his face is engraved in her brain and it's making her lose sleep. She stays up late hours of the night wondering if she just said yes to him.

Kehlani's Outfit
"You want the normal?" Mia asked, Kehlani nodded "so did you hear anything back for the audition or the song?" Jack spoke into her ear over the loud music.
Kehlani shook her head and looked at him with sad eyes. "No, but I'm hoping I hear something back soon" Jack nodded at her words.
Kehlani was looking around the club, it was kinda packed and a lot of people were walking around and she saw some people filming her and she just knows her and Jack are going end up on some more articles.
"Oh shit look" Jack nodded in the direction of the other side of the club. She looked over trying to see what he was talking about but she couldn't there were so many people in way so she couldn't tell.
"What? What are talking about?"
"Look at the entrance, that's Ja"
"Ja? Who the fuck is that?"
"Ja Morant"
"Ohhh shit sorry! He plays on the grizzlies correct?" Jack nodded at her "they won against the la clippers so I guess they're celebrating, fuck I hope he's not drinking."
Mia came into their view "here Kehl's, what you lookin at?" She said while handing Kehlani her drink.
"Ja Morant"
"Huh?! Where?! Ayeee I'm cool with him, let's go say hi!" Kehlani looked at Mia with widened eyes "umm no thank you, you go".
Mia shrugged her and made her way over to them. "Well I gotta get back to my hotel, I'm going back to Atlanta tomorrow."
"Alright it was good seeing you, can I call you if I hear anything back for the movie and the song?" Jack nodded and leaned over and gave her a hug.
She sipped her drink and watched Jack and his friends head to the entrance to leave. She was now all alone on the couch, looking over the crowd of people until her eyes were met with another.
Ja was staring at her, while Mia was pointing at the couch she was on. He turned around and said something to his friends and they all turned to look at her and made their way over. That's not fucking scary.
Mia looked at Kehlani with a smile and sat down to the left of her. Then she felt someone sit to the right of her, she turned her head and was met with Ja sticking is hand out to introduce himself to her. She shook his hand "I'm Ja."

"How are you tonight?" Ja said with a slight smile. Kehlani couldn't help but to blush a little. "I'm good and you?"
"Perfect." He replied and looked her up and down slowly.
Kehlani nodded slowly trying to hold back her smile. She was starting to feel the effects of her drink, "Wanna a refill?" Ja asked her.
Kehlani nodded and watched him get up and make his way to the bar. Kehlani turned her head quickly ready to yell at Mia for asking them to sit with us but she was tongue deep in a girls mouth.
She slightly laughed and looked back at the bar to see Ja making his way back
Kehlani grabbed the drink and thanked him, "Aren't you supposed to be in a hotel sleeping?"
"Woah, we just met and now you care about my sleep schedule?" Ja said while looking at her lips.
"No" Kehlani said slowly while looking at his eyes. She was really feeling the alcohol now. "You look good" Ja said.
As soon as he said that Kehlani's mind went straight to that night with Jordan where he complemented her dress. She had no clue why she's even thinking about it when she's receiving attention from another man.
She felt a tap on her left shoulder and looked to see Mia with a sympathetic smile. "Kehl's... um this Rhia she's super cool umm..." Mia said slowly, "she wants me to go home with her...."
Kehlani's eye widened "Your gonna leave me? Here alone with.... him?" She whispered at Mia. "If you don't feel comfortable, I'll stay!"
Kehlani laughed at her worried expression, "Hey I'm fine, go." Mia smiled and repeatedly asked her if she was sure.
Mia kissed her cheek and made her way out with Rhia. She turned to look at Ja but he was looking at her smiling. He looked down at her hand and spotted her ring "cool ring".
"Thanks" she replied, she was kinda nervous because him staring at her is a little intimidating and she felt like she was making it awkward.
He tucked piece of her hair behind her ear "why you nervous?"
"Maybe because you're in my personal space..." Kehlani said while rolling her eyes. "Oh? you got a smart mouth?"
"Yep, do you have a problem with that?"
He leaned his head to the side and brought his lips to her neck, he waited a second until he latched his lips and started to suck lightly on her neck.
She held in a breath and bit down on her lip. "Damn, what happened to consent?" Ja pulled away and looked her in her eyes.
"Do you know how fuckin stupid I would sound if I said ' can I suck on your neck?' He said.
She set down her cup on the table in front of them and grabbed her purse. "Nothing is fucking stupid about asking for consent."
Kehlani then stood up and made her way out the entrance to her driver's car.
