Taylor, Austin, Shawn and Cory are sitting at their lunch table talking about which superhero they wish was their dad.
"Say you could pick any superhero to be your dad. Who would you choose?" Cory says, enthusiastically
Austin doesn't hesitate with his answer, "Bat-man. No question. Live in a cool cave, borrow the Batmobile." He smiles
Shawn smiles, "he lets robin hang out with him and play with all his stuff. And robins not even his real kid. He's his ward."
Austin furrows his eyebrows, "how do you get to be a ward?"
Before Shawn can answer, Cory cuts his off. "Batman? Is he faster then a speed bullet? I don't think so." He looks away from Shawn and turns towards Taylor and Austin "Is he more powerful than a locomotive? Uh-uh" he shakes his finger in their faces
Taylor pretends to bite it and Cory yelps, pulling his finger away
"Who would you pick then cor?" Taylor smirks at the curly headed boy
"I'd want Superman." Cory nods
Shawn shakes his head "sees through walls, you'd never get away with anything."
Austin continues, "I'd be a very cool ward" he looks at Taylor "right?"
Taylor looks at him and flicks his forehead, "no."
Austin smacks her hand away, gently so he doesn't hurt her
"I'd like to have Superman for a dad." Cory rests his head on his arms before sitting back up, "what about you Taylor? Who would you pick"
Taylor smiles, "my dads already a superhero"
Austin turns to look at her, "suck up"
Shawn smirks, looking at minkus who's sitting alone at his lunch table reading, "hey there's minkus" he pulls out his water gun and shoots minkus in the head with it
"Ow" Minkus says in a monotone voice without looking away from the book
"shawn." Taylor says in a stern voice
Shawn gives a guilty expression before turning his attention to Cory
"Whoa! The 2000-X hydro-saturator." Cory examines the water gun
