Taylor, Shawn and Austin laughed when Cory put on a clown nose and started mocking Mr. Feeny
"Ah. Mr. Matthews" Mr. Feeny stood behind Cory, Cory turned to face him "shall I express my usual disappointment or just ask you to guide my sleigh tonight?"
Austin threw his hands up, "I knew you were Santa Claus! No wonder he knows everything we do"
Taylor looks at them unimpressed, "no wonder you got a F on your last math test"
"Wrong holiday, Mr. Feeny" Cory replied "see, Halloweens coming up and I was just test driving my clown nose"
"Then I insist you stay in the drivers seat. Put the nose back on for the rest of the morning." Mr. Feeny nudged his shoulder with the papers then started handing them out again
"Mr. Minkus, excellent work as usual. I particularly enjoyed your haiku on Capital Ahab's obsession with the great white wall."
"The calm blue ocean. Sun lights up the monsters eye. Hee sees me; whale food." Minkus spoke dramatically then looked at his paper
"It works on so many levels" Mr. Feeny moved to pass out the others
"Brown-noser" Shawn mumbled to Minkus
"Troglodyte" Minkus retorted
"Mr. Lewis, very good work. Mr. Swift, nice job. Mr. Matthews, not one of your better efforts. Ms. Swift, you seem to have quite the fascination on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet." Mr. Feeny hands her the books report
"I like love story's. It's a beautiful book, it affirms the power of love over hate" Taylor smiles at the 100% on her paper
Mr. Feeny smiles at the girl then hands Shawn his paper, "Mr. Hunter....nice work"
Shawn looks at his paper then shows it to Taylor, "I got a "C"."
Taylor smiles, "better than last week right?"
"Yeah, thanks...for the help" Shawn smiled shyly
"Anytime" Taylor smiles then turns away
